When They Come For Your Guns, You Will Turn Them Over

“When they come for my gun, they will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands,” is a common refrain I often hear from the Neo-Cons when there is a threat that the US government is going to take their firearms.

And, when I hear this crazy talk, I agree with them openly. “You are right. They will pry your gun from your cold dead hands,” which I often follow with the question, “And where will that leave you except face down in a pool of your own blood the middle of the street, just another dead fool resisting the State?”

LEO’s are not friends of Americans or their liberties! In Michigan, the SOP for State (storm) Troopers is to carry their civilian clothes in the trunk of their patrol vehicles so they can change in case of civil unrest.

LEO’s and their family of Unions have spent millions of dollars to get anti-gun legislation pushed through State legislatures and were the catalyst behind the “assault weapons Ban.”

The LEO’s are now pushing legislation to get the evil “AK-47” off the streets and out of the hands of American citizens.

No Sir, don't trust your local LEO’s!

And these “union members” need to realize that we know where they live and their families bunk down. Their kids go to schools our kids go to. I can hide easier than he can hide his family.

If they start this war then I will not fight acording to the Geneva Convention. They know not what they will start.

Of course there are. And there is almost a de facto prohibition in Chicago, and there was, and still nearly is, one in DC.

Yet, i notice nobody seems to be able to stop the nightly shootouts by simply collecting up the guns.

The agents who side with the government in the oppression of citizens need to know that we know where they and their families live, shop, vacation etc. How long would it take before they realized that the paycheck wasn't worth the payBACK.

Sadly, we have been too civilized about all this in the first place, which is why it has gone this far.

100 years ago, some thrashings would have been adminstered, and this nonsense stopped in its tracks. Since then, the family bonds which were almost clanlike have been eroded, and few alone will have the fortitude to so much as threaten even the mildest reprisal. Somewhere in between, whether if be 'for the war effort', or for 'getting America back on its feet', or whatever excuse, we have permitted the destruction of our rights without serious reaction against those who have been quick to utilize the shiny new tools of totalitarianism. They feel none of the pain they inflict, and thus have no deterrent to their actions.

Now the State's minions, without warrant, can dig through your stuff, take your property, sieze your children and indefinitely hold them hostage to the whims of its officers, even decide how you will spend your resources, and declare what you can and cannot do with your own real estate (which you pay annual rent on, or it will be confiscated and you evicted).

Somewhere in there, some butts should have been kicked, people shunned, the tar heated up and the feathers applied, and fence rails utilized...

We're too damned 'civilized' for own good.

We have endured too much for too long, and when the gloves come off, when that cultural popoff valve trips, I think things could get very ugly, indeed.

If and when there is a next American Revolution, it will likely not be like the first one, but will more resemble the Terror.

I could say a large part of them voted for an empty chair in 2008 and would do anything to get a meal or to pay their bills, including snitching on their own kind.

Rats in a bucket will eat each other trying to escape.

And they would obviously target anyone who voted for Romney should Romney become elected.

Those who would go along with taking our weapons have neighbors who own guns too.
Do they think a badge will protect their families while they are out killing families?

I have friends and family that were stupid enough to vote for Jugears. None of them would turn me in. Some of them would start shooting at the confiscators before I would.

I stand with you my Brother! The first sign of dictatorship in our local planning commissions (Politburo's) they should have been taken out and the shit kicked out of them! Instead, many stood on he sidelines and was glad to be able to use that government overreach for their own personal use against their neighbors! Now that the government is knocking on their own door, they don't like it. I have kept a mental note of the turncoats who have sided with the enemy over the years, they will not escape the judgment of the people!

"You aren’t aware of the firearms confiscation in NOLA after Katrina, eh?"

You make my point. You didn't read about them succeeding in taking my guns after Katrina, did you? Game, set, match.

I’m of the opinion that the Feds will attempt this. Yes, it seems suicidal of them to try such but you have to remember that they are Leftists.

“Nope. Can you imagine “anyone” attempting to “disarm” the State of Texas? The very idea is silly.”

No, unfortunately, your idea is silly. Your comments sound like Mr. Bluster on Howdy Doody. We’re all gonna leave our wives and kids at home an go out ORGANIZED to prevent the nasty gubmint from taking our guns? Horse$h!t!

Stopping an abusive, intrusive dictatorship from implementing its policies requires organization and a willingness to die for the cause en masse, not Billy Bob sitting in his house waiting for the nasty Feds coming to take his guns and shooting it out ala the OK Corral or Custer’s Last Stand. Your expectation that in today’s society, everyone will come together to put a stop to that is either BS braggadocio or extreme naivete. The Marines are not gonna come to your rescue. Neither are any of the Commies working for Obama nor the panty waist Republicans that are afraid of their own shadow.

When Bubba next door shoots it out with the Feds and gets blown away, I’m sure your wife is gonna say, “Good for him, Billy Bob, now you do the same, but not while the kids and me are around.” This is not Rick Perry shooting coyotes. Coyotes don’t shoot back. There are not a slew of Rambos hanging around most neighborhoods even if they are NRA CHL multi gun owners. Try reading up on people that actually lived through real SHTF scenarios in third world areas.

Hiding of guns/ammo, blending in with the woodwork, and utilization of an organized underground would be the only effective solution. But remember, those afraid of or sympathetic to the gubmint will turn you in in a heartbeat. When that happens, you are toast. Get real!

“First the veterans, then the militia, then the gun clubs and shooting ranges.”

Actually the FIRST confiscation of firearms from Americans have been from “convicted felons” with the approval, blessings, and support of most Americans. Even after these Americans had served their time, paid their debt to society in full, Americans sat on their hands and allowed the government to pass laws forbidding convicted felons from possessing firearms. If the government can take firearms from convicted felons with blessings of the American people, they can take them from law abiding Americans as well!

Funny, the refrain I hear is "go f--- yourself" to anyone who uses the term "Neo-Cons" as a pejorative.
