This Is What A US Strike On Iran's Nuclear Facilities Could Look Like

Washington D.C. foreign policy think tank the Center For Strategic & International Studies took a long hard look at what it really means to thwart Iran's nuclear ambitions, what it would take, and what it could lead to in a report released yesterday.
The speculation that Israel can go it alone against Tehran remains, but the specifics of what's required by a US attack to put the nuclear program in the dust is outlined in detail. At least 16 F-18s, and 10 B-2 bombers carrying 30,000 pound Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs, would initially be required by US forces.
Iran's retaliation would be another story entirely with a massive incoming missile salvo directed about the entire region. When that happens a full Ballistic Missile War could ensue with untold US space, air, sea, and land elements coming into play.

Think the beauty of the plan is the US doesn’t have to launch the strike. And it gives Obama plausible deniablility in that all he has to say is it is an internal matter and the US had no involvement.
Mossad could easily do this and they have to have resources in the Iranian dissident movement.
No one wants to fire a shot. Too many lives would be destroyed and it would resonate globally. It should have been done in 2009. Could still happen in 2012/2013.
I don’t understand this “let’s not kill anyone but just scare em” stuff. I count successful strategic strikes in millions dead.
To erase Iran takes less than 50 warheads, and that’s with 100% redundancy.
Israel’s dolphins can do it on their own, with a fly time of less than 5 minutes.

That reminds me of North Korea.
Every time North Korea attacks South Korea, the SK responds like a bunch of wimps- because the US wants them to. If you wanted to really hurt North Korea you only need to make them look stupid.
If the Norks launch another artillery barrage, or sink another naval vessel the response should be automatic and pre-planned launches of cruise missiles hitting Kim Jong-Eun’s palaces, party headquarters, secret police headquarters, military headquarters, TV and radio stations and those radio jamming towers.
As soon as Pyongyang radio and TV go down along with jammers, the South should broadcast directly to the North Korean people with the message that the dictatorship and tyrants of their country are the ONLY reason there is not peace and unity on the peninsula.
The clock is ticking. The Iranian mullahs must be worried silly over the idea of Romney assuming the presidency. Surely most of them are not sold on the BS regarding the hidden Inman that will rise from the well once the shlt hits the fan.

IMHO: Israel will attack before election. Iran will not launch any missiles outside their country. Israel will use missiles, special forces, subs and ground troops only in Israel and near-by.
