Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who has called for scrapping President Barack Obama's 2010 U.S. healthcare law, said in remarks aired on Sunday that he likes key parts of "Obamacare" despite his party's loathing of it and wants to retain them.

The election is already over in a sense. No matter what the winner will be a big government liberal.

Romney is a liberal dem that put an “R” next to his name to get elected. Just look at his record.

Mitt has said he thinks state-passed Romneycare is grand for Massachusetts. How you can blow that up into a claim like yours is a puzzle for the ages.

Mitt, through his surrogates, I believe Pam Bondi, has already gone on record that they will be pushing implementation of RomneyCare in all 50 states, which means by default, an individual Mandate.

You're pushing a known liar who has been stating all this year how Pro-Life he was and then turns around an publicly states he is in favor for Abortion for Rape, Incest, Life, and HEALTH of the mother.

Effectively invalidating his so-called Pro-Life position.

Mitt is the King of Parsing a position by his statements or even out-right lying but we're supposed to believe him?

Not Newsmax. I’ve been burned by them too many times. They lie.

Now if you want proof I’m a Mitt skeptic, here’s what I posted earlier today:

Listen up and learn, SoConPubbie.

This article, which isn't attributed to anyone, is a lie.

Got it? Nowhere in this piece of trash does Romney state that he'll keep parts of Obamacare.

Get a clue and stop posting horseshit. Thanks in advance.

Oy vey, the infinitely abusable (by both sides) HEALTH OF THE MOTHER issue. Heaven forbid either side should go into detail about what they mean, of course. They they can sling insults freely and never make an ounce of sense.

If Romney wants to stump for every state making the dodo the state bird... let him. The crucial point is that this can NOT be a federal mandate.

I'm glad for some objectivity on your part on this issue but I've seen too many posts of yours that defend Mitt Romney.

If I am confusing you with someone else, I apologize in advance.

You’ve been predicting a Romney loss for sometime. Who do you recommend voting FOR?

Same-O same-O, Mitt: WE CAN’T AFFORD OBAMA/ROMNEY/RYAN/HILLY “care!”

Give us a reason to vote FOR you!

JUST SAY NO! TO OBAMA”CARE!”

“Throughout his campaign, Mitt Romney has constantly voiced one rock-solid promise: the repeal and replacement of Obamacare. This morning on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Mitt Romney was pressed about his plans for healthcare. During his answer, he said “Well, I’m not getting rid of all of healthcare reform.”

Voices from both ends of the spectrum have pounced on the line. The left (including most major media websites) claims he said he’ll keep parts of Obamacare intact. Meanwhile, the right is busy calling him a turncoat and sellout who’s dumped his plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act. In reality, they’re both wrong.

If you listen past the soundbite, you’ll hear Romney’s full intent.

“Of course, there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I’m going to put in place,” Romney said. “One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage. Two is to assure that the market.”

No, that is not the crucial point.

Socialism at any level of government is indefensible; it is also immoral and totally lacking in any conservative principle whatever.

Trying to use the 10th Amendment to cover up the abomination and confuse the issue is just plain deceitful.

If you accused Mitt Romney of dressing up like Satan and wearing red tights and someone else said no that’s wrong, you would count that as “defending Mitt Romney.”

Yes, you must be confusing me with someone else.

I’m serious about Newsmax. It’s best just not to read anything from them. They’re bad news.

Wouldn’t you rather work with someone who respects the constitutional structure, even if some of his policy ideas stank, than one who does not?

That is the choice between the viable candidates of November.

Sadly, my original prognostication is probably incorrect; I simply had more faith in the principles of Americans, especially conservatives that I should have.

And it has been quite some time since I uttered anything like that.
