Don't underestimate the liberal mind. A liberal I work with had a son in the US Air Force. He made a portrait of his son and put Navy FA-18s in it. Perhaps he should be given credit for at least using US Navy jets and not some foreign ones. I haven't had the heart to tell him those aren't Air Force aircraft as he spent a lot of time working on the picture.

That photo certainly raised the hair on this old EW. It reminds me of cruising past the Baltic Fleet at Kronsadt Island in the 70’s when a TEAC reel-to-reel recorder was my best friend (among other goodies).

Agree. #2 is carrying "Top Plate" radar (although lead ship is probably a Krivak from the minimal radar carried)

Here appear to be the rear three ships in a different photo

From that I'd say #2 is a Neustrashimy frigate ("Top Plate". single one gun turret forward, rear deckhouse out to hull side)

But they got #3 right

Similarly, the third ship has a MR-310 “Head Net” air search radar, shaped like two off-set bananas, at its masthead and is mostly likely the guided missile destroyer Smetlivyy

Not that difficult, as it is the only ship left with "Head Net/TopPair" radar.
