A team of about 50 Marines has been dispatched to the Libyan city of Benghazi to secure the U.S. Consulate after attacks Tuesday left four Americans dead including the U.S. ambassador, a senior U.S. military official told Fox News.
The official said a Marine "fast team" is being sent from the U.S. Naval base in Rota, Spain. They are not yet on the ground.
The move comes after President Obama ordered "all necessary resources" provided to Libya to support the security of U.S. personnel in the country.

IMO Romney should express disappointment with Obama’s weakness, and the conservative mega-phones should be blasting Obama and the traitorous scum bucket college professor multi-cult kumbaya out of touch liberals for their anti-Americanism and their general stupidity.
I do not foresee these Marines actually arriving at the consulate safely. Will they go in by helicopter and land within the compound?

What gets me is why there is no Marine task force in the Med. But then again the muzsymp Obama probably has the Marines doing social work somewhere else.
The question is why did Obama allow them to be removed in the first place ?
Were they prevented from firing on these enemy combatants while they were invading the US soil of the Embassy grounds, then over run ?
There is much more to this story that the MSM and folks are missing.

There has been news that all embassy personnel have been removed from Libya! What are the Marines going to do there? I guess their mission could be to secure sensitive documents that were not burned or already stolen.
