The Muslim Brotherhood are doing what he wants done in the Middle East. This is the force that Zer0 promotes. They are not allies, the are co-conspirators.

Correction, if I may? “So why are we giving them any money?”

Either Obama is an idiot - a front man with no actual clue other than speechifying and sketchy beliefs that are enacted by others since he is too damn lazy and incompetent - OR he is a genius who is intent on taking the US out...while fooling enough voters to buy enough time to continue his dastardly deeds.
Or both.

President Obama February 12 2011
The United States will continue to be a friend and partner to Egypt. We stand ready to provide whatever assistance is necessary and asked for to pursue a credible transition to a democracy. Im also confident that the same ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit that the young people of Egypt have shown in recent days can be harnessed to create new opportunity jobs and businesses that allow the extraordinary potential of this generation to take flight. And I know that a democratic Egypt can advance its role of responsible leadership not only in the region but around the world.
Well that was very inspiring for such a short lived friendship!

“Well, Egypt used to be an ally but Obama sure took care of that.”
Right on target, FRiend! Mubarak, for all his faults (which indeed were many), was a loyal ally to the U.S. and a man of peace when it came to our allies in Israel. The Egyptian leadership today...not so much.

Well they sure as hell were one of our most important allies.
You have to understand, Obama and other liberals don’t respect allies of the United States.
Obama is praising Egypt.
