President Barack Obama used Air Force One to conduct a policy loop-de-loop Wednesday, asserting in a CBS interview that he supports Americans right to criticize Islam, following almost 18 hours of determined condemnation from Team Romney and damaging news from Egypt and Libya.
We believe in the First Amendment, Obama told CBSs Steve Kroft during an interview arranged days earlier.
It is one of the hallmarks of our Constitution that Im sworn to uphold, and so we are always going to uphold the rights for individuals to speak their mind, he said, according to a transcript narrated by White House spokesman Jay Carney

I embrace my freedom to declare my community Moslem free and any attempt on my part to keep it Moslem free my choice.
No law or person can force me to accept a Moslem as a neighbor, a co-worker or as an elected official.
My freedom of choice allows me the discretion to just say NO.
The left is in a rage that Romney has forced obama into this statement.
Later, Obama is claiming he supports freedom of speech.
Romney is right. Obama is sending mixed messages.
I noticed yesterday that when quoting Obama, the MSM included the line “shoots first and asks questions later”. However, this morning on the way into work, those words were omitted from the MSM story where the reporter only paraphrased that Obama said Romney speaks before he knows all of the facts.
Maybe not a big deal, but my immediate reaction was that they were whitewashing the statement for some reason.
Looks like BaraQa will need to visit the Presidential dentist after making that statement. Just reading it I can hear the 1/4 inch of tooth grit he lost to grinding during that proclamation.
Barry will always uphold the Constitution as long as somebody is dogging him about it.
