This isn’t the perogative of an ambassador, this is rules of engagement established by Obama. If this is true every damn Marine officedr in that chain of command should be cashiered and Obama should be impeached. Of course none of that will happen.

Just heard on Focx News that the Pentagon denies that Marines are not allowed to carry loaded firearms.

Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson “did not permit U.S. Marine guards to carry live ammunition,” according to multiple reports on U.S. Marine Corps blogs spotted by Nightwatch. “She neutralized any U.S. military capability that was dedicated to preserve her life and protect the US Embassy.”

That would be fine if she sent the Marines home. Forcing them to be at risk is beyond incompetence, more like something criminal.
