Two former Navy SEALs were identified Thursday as the third and fourth victims of the attack on a U.S. consulate in Libya this week that also killed the U.S. ambassador.
U.S. officials and family members identified the men as Glen Doherty, 42, a native of Winchester, Mass., and Tyrone Woods, 41. Details of how they died haven't been made public.

Well, technically, at the risk of sounding like an a-hole, there was that Chinook that was taken down by an RPG, the helo that was going to rescue Michael Murphy and his fireteam.
Odd that the Seals would be killed unless they were set up/ Like by our State Dept and Obama.

And I seriously doubt that the details of the ambassador’s autopsy will be revealed. It’s been reported that he was sodomized before he was murdered. It’s also been reported that Gaddafi(sp?) was sodomized with a knife before he was murdered. Why? To slice his innards to shreds, and to add to the excruciating pain. I truly pray that I’m wrong!

With the reports of no bullets authorized for the Marine guards at the Embassy, I bet that is why they were not previously identified.

2 Seals dead and no mention of huge Libyan casualties could only be explained if the Marines were not armed. Even X-Marines, some say government contractor looking for shoulder fired weapons.
My bet is that this is all smoke screen to cover up the ineptness of Obozo’s administration and this disaster.

He was. There was a video floating around of that part of the murder, going around third world blog sites. Some teenaged mouthbreather slid a narrow, stiletto type blade about 8 inches long and a half inch wide up Qaddaffi’s bum. The intention was to slit and create the pain you described. Ironically, this murdered ambassador had an active hand in creating the chaos that led to Qaddaffi’s overthrow. Unintended consequences to be sure.

Good point, but as civilians it doesn’t matter which company they worked for, the media is supposed to be calling them mercenaries and what ever else they used to use during the Bush years.
I guess even “private contractors” is out now, the article did label them “private security specialists for the U.S. government” which sounds like the left has softened their tone.
Plugs Biden didn’t out them as Seals, so it must not be important.

It is almost CERTAIN that the other State Dept. Employees killed with Stevens were Professional Soldiers, AKA, “Mercenaries”.
ALL such contracting is taken care of through State, often they’re called, “DOS Contractors”.
With Hillary and Hussein at the helm I’m sure there is Apollo kinds of pressure to allllways term them something other than mercs.
