The photo in post 71 shows the Marines saluting so they are not carrying the casket there. You cant see the pedestal (it might be a hearse cart) but you can tell the casket is not on the floor.

Remember, it was another "Right Wing Talk Radio Did This" blame-a-thon moment. Fits right in with the "a movie made them do it" excuse for this debacle.

It was a trial balloon for the "Together We Thrive" campaign slogan. However, they soon realized that bragging about their economy was not a good idea and went with the more obtuse "Forward" as a campaign slogan.

The "Forward" slogan also allowed them to re-use the hideous Onointed One logo as the "O" in Forward.

They carries the bodies off of the airplane and put the caskets on pedestals by each hearse. The SOS and 0 gave a mixture of eulogy and policy statements (completely inappropriate), then the caskets were put into the hearses by the Marines with much grace and dignity.
