100 million rounds here, and a 100 million there, and pretty soon, you have a lot of ammo!

Heheh. Reminds of why 7.62x54R is so easy to come by 20 years after the fall of the Soviet Bloc.

They are not even attempting to hide their intentions anymore...U.S. citizens are the government's #1 enemy and they are preparing to deal with them...

If there is an election this fall, and if the Rumney-RINO is elected, the first priority is to rescind all the unconstitutional EO's the fascist peacock has issued.

The second priority is to totally dismantle DHS, an agency that provides absolutely no value and, in general, operates outside the boundaries of the former Constitution. If you examine the history and mission function of the Sturmabteilung, you will find that it is almost identical to that of the DHS...Only the color of the uniforms is different...

It was actually the Hague Convention of 1899 that prohibited "bullets that flatten" for use in international warfare. Turning them on domestic targets doesn't conflict because it isn't "international".

error; the insane in the middle east are certainly not what the bullets are for, nor for those Islams in the US. That leaves all us white people. And conservative, christian minorities....

Well, all this new ammunition is certainly NOT going to our troops who are protecting our embassies. Must be for another pending war, with US.

If I were expecting QEfinity, taxation and regulation to put America in a staglfationary death spiral of inflation and joblessness and turn over 35% of GDP to the Fed before it all collapses into civil war...then I might need a few million sniper rounds.

“I am so angry.”

I noticed that yesterday also. I think I also read that husseins administration is cutting security(if that’s possible) at embassies/consulates world wide. One has to suspect the extra ammo is being brought in for the US spring that will happen when people here finally wake up to what this pos, poseur president has in mind for us.

I prefer the 168gr. HPBT for long range out of a Springfield Armory M1A, for hunting I’ll use some pet Barnes Triple Shock loads I have come up with that feed and cycle the M1A without hammering it to death.
When the bullet supply train dried up a couple years ago I found an abundance of Barnes Bullets available and I picked up enough to almost keep me broke, they are spendy but I don’t live to toss them at high speed into a sandpile. Each one counts.

I guess there is a lot more at the link LUcyT!!

The bad news However, all of the “sniper” grade ammunition is being used by trained, or in-the-process-of-being-trained snipers. The same legal opinion found that: In contrast, United States Army and Marine Corps snipers in the Vietnam War expended 1.3 rounds of ammunition for each claimed and verified kill, at an average range of six hundred yards, or almost twice the three hundred meters cited above for combat engagements by the average soldier. Some verified kills were at ranges in excess of 1000 yards. This represents discrimination and military efficiency of the highest order, as well as minimization of risk to noncombatants. Utilization of a bullet that increases accuracy, such as the MatchKing, would further diminish the risk to noncombatants. And that math comes out to be 135,384 potential kills for the snipers to make, using the 176,000 rounds of ammunition. How well does the boat tail ammunition make the sniper? The following are recommendations of the MatchKing ammunition. Another review can be found here. Read more: http://www.prepperpodcast.com/sniper-ammunition-dhs-targets/#ixzz26XSahtG9

Looks like to me that this is sniper ammo,to be used against whom?Is the question.

Berger VLD is the best for long range accuracy.

Given a choice of buying bullets

(1) to protect our embassies and consulates from Obama’s friends, or

(2) to control American citizens who object to an unconstitutional, out of control government,

it’s clear which option Hillary and Obama prefer.

Speaking of more accessible hardware is that there is a much broader field of scopes available, of course they were out there but you can now buy thermal heatvison rifle scopes from Cabelas, and the traditional name brand “sniper” scopes are also at Cabelas.

If there is anything a person REALLY needs to buy its a high end scope, before the Feds ban all of them.

In one of Matt Brackens novels the feds did just very same thing.

“What I saw at the coup”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2929658/posts

snip

Some of the hate radio hosts began to fan the flames with crazy rumors that really weren’t so crazy, not to us. When they were taken off the air through a variety of means (but mainly for violating the “fomenting domestic terrorism” laws), the right wing nut jobs went absolutely mad with fury. The accusations about a secret purge continued. The plan was being laid out for all to see, even while it was being officially denied at every level, and was never reported on at all by our cooperating media networks and other friendly outlets.

And then the shooting started.

At a month and a half or so, it sometimes seemed that the plan was in danger of falling apart. I asked Dennis about it in private, but he appeared unworried. “It’s all part of the action-reaction calculus. It was all taken into account. We needed them to react. We’re in the second phase. We smoked them out into the open with phase one, and now we can go get them. Why do you think we bought billions of bullets for the DHS? Why do you think we paid for SWAT teams and armored cars in every Podunk town in America? We’ve been getting ready for this moment for years.”

“You knew this would happen? A civil war?”

He said, “It’s not a civil war—it’s a police action against criminals and domestic terrorists. But don’t worry: we’re ready. Now that they’re shooting at us, we can take the gloves off. The first two thousand arrests were just priming the pump. This phase will let us finish the job once and for all. Think about it: even now, nobody knows what happened to the first two thousand, or even that there were two thousand. In a month, nobody will remember if they were arrested before the shooting started, or after.”
