We have seen what Hitler, Stalin and Mao did. It is not likely to have traction here in the USA. The leftists already have no firearms as a grop. I think that more US Patriots have .308 and 30-06 than the brown shirts. And how many .338 Lapua do the brown shirts have vs. Patriots?

Hmmm. How many rounds are out there in private hands? Several Hundred Billion, I reckon.
300 Million to 500 Million firearms; at least a 1000-round starter kit of ammo for each one. Should be a bunch of it.

7.62mm NATO/.308 is one of my very favorite rounds. Good to know that there will be some around if its needed. Knowing our government... they will store it in a U-Haul storage unit with small Yale lock.

All Tea Party members will soon be required to wear a U.S. flag on their arm, to make target identification easy.

Billions and billions. Lake City Ammunition factory in Lake City, Louisiana manufactured and sold more that 2.5 billion rounds of 5.56mm NATO in 2010 alone. More than 40% went on the civilian market. Americans shoot up a lot of 5.56mm.

And why isn’t a Republican Congress having daily hearings about the accumulation of anti-civilian ammunition? Is no Republican curious about why the government needs to be able to kill so many of its own people?

I am sure that most of the military will uphold their constitutional oath. The communist insurrection will have enemies from two sides. Invest in Washington, DC underwear cleaners.

That reminded me of a joke I heard today. This good old boy from North Mississippi called obama the other day and said, “Mr President, we are decalring war on you”.
“Who are you?”, responded obama.
“It's me and Vern and the boys”
“Look son... I am CiC of the United States and I have 1.5 million troops under my command and you need to know that”.
“Look Mr President... I need to talk with Vern and the boys about this... I will have to get back with you”.
Well sir this good old boy calls obama back up the next day and says, “Mr president... I am going to have to call off that war”.
“Well son, I am glad that you have come to your senses and see that you face a far more lethal Military”.
“No sir... it ain't that... you see we run a catfish farm and me and Vern and the boys just can't figure out... even with 20 ponds... how we are going to feed that many prisoners of war”.

It’s not the Wehrmacht you need to worry about, it’s the Gestapo and the Waffen-SS.

What makes you think it’s going to be “a constitutional republic” doing so?
Good point. . How much more can we take?
About 1 well placed .308 round.

These people will rue the day if they plan on targeting American citizens.
