A college professor has been placed on leave after she allegedly forced her class to sign a pledge to vote for President Obama in the upcoming elections.
Early last week Professor Sharon Sweet at Brevard Community College (BCC) allegedly told students to sign a pledge that reads: I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket.

Yeah, and we are supposed to be surprised?
Election law violations to boot...her next job might be making license plates.
The comrades are getting sloppy.
Is “suspend” a new code word for “promote” these days?
Obamaworld is an insane asylum.

It doesn’t look like her students care much for her, but no photo is provided so I suppose the jury’s still out.
Diversity racist communists will be racist communists.
There have been many cases of black teachers abusing their students and the constitutional culture of this nation with their radical zeal.
The disrespect of racists...but I repeat myself.
Mmm Mmmm Mmm...
We seem to hear about rogue teachers a lot which makes me wonder how many do this and don’t get reported.
Counterrevolutionary worm! Why is there no profile of our glorious Comrade Obama next to Lenin and Stalin??? To the Gulag with you!;)
In the summer of 1984, a friend of mine and I attended a small democratic confab that was designed as a "dialogue" between conservatives and liberals. We went just to observe and ask stupid questions pretending to be liberals. At a most opportune time the guy in charge asked me what I thought of his presentation and I said, "I am kind of disappointed. I thought this would be a very stimulating conversation and it just feels like I am at a baby shower guessing what day the baby is going to be born." He was miffed that I did not enjoy his expert presentation.
But that wasn't the most fun stuff that happened. Shortly before that place was about to empty, a friend of the guy in charge sort of burst into the room, sat down and acted really disgusted. She had just conducted a class vote on her teenage students and "almost all of them voted for Reagan!" I wanted to clap out loud, but I didn't want to blow my cover. She described the entire vote and even with her special prompting they voted with the "enemy."
They think that all of their tricks will work, but sometimes the kids don't roll the way they plan. Poor babies.
Power to the people! Power to the People!
LOL;)
Or my brother's favorite standby in HS study hall— Dick Hurts. You don't know how many substitute teacher aids asked “Who's Dick Hurts?”
Or, “Where’s Mike Hunt?”
I heard Mike paged once at an airport. Frat boys.
This reminds me of a place I worked in my younger days that was going through an attempt to become unionized. Most people really didn’t want it, but there was a lot of pressure put on people to wear pins, hand out cards, and so forth. I was a young hot-head with more temper than brains, and apparently it showed - so they left me alone. Many of my co-workers, especially those with families, were really worried about threats and violence.
I told everyone one of them the save thing - do what you have to do to survive, but nobody knows how you vote when you go behind the curtain.
Probably 80-90% of the people had union badges on, had stickers on the side of their toolboxes, crap on their cars, etc. The union lost something like 33% for, 77% against. I laughed my a$$ off.
Pass around all the stupid pledges you want, I’m not going to let you flunk me and waste six months of my life - but you’ll NEVER control or know how I vote!
I have always been conservative, and when I was in the public mental institutions, I felt I had to be a closeted conservative. Teachers don't realise that no matter how hard they try, or even in proportion to how hard they try, kids will go their own way. Any liberalism they instill in you wears off only a couple of years after you leave school at most. Some will stay liberal, but they probably always would have been. The rest of us, we just discard it once we get out into the real world.
This teacher is willing to to risk her career for a small effect on kids.
W.T.F.?
Did she really think this would stand? How stupid is this woman? She teaches college?
This reminds me of the experience we had with a Ford dealer. We’ve actually gone to 3 or 4 Ford dealers and I don’t get it, every time it was the hard sell. I know people like them because they didn’t need a bailout and I guess the hard sell works, but goshdarn you need to have a plan B because the hard sell will NEVER work with me. I’ll never even enter a Ford dealership again, not on a bet.
Anyhoo we went to one down in Virginia shopping for my kid while she was in college. We looked at some car she kind of liked. Then the salesguy writes an amount on a napkin, literally a napkin, like from his morning coffee, not even a piece of notepaper...and he says: if you’ll sign this offer I’ll see if I can get my manager to approve it.
And hubby’s like: that’s a napkin. And the guy just repeats: sign it now and I’ll try to get it approved.
And hubby says: I’m not signing a napkin. And the guy is just grinning at him.
Then, we left.
See, this is why I’d LOVE to have that woman as my prof. And I HOPE the Black Panthers show up at my polling place.
And, this is also why I’ll never own a gun.
