Fox News ^

Posted on 09/18/2012 9:33:08 AM PDT by tapatio

The latest mandate handed down from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is so ridiculous, even I was shocked. The EPA has now mandated how much gasoline you must buy at certain gas stations. Say hello to the Obama Administration’s four gallon minimum.

LOL! Do I need a licence to fly to use it?

BTW, Found a station in Midland thanks to rinnwald’s post #47! It’ll be worth the 28 miles to ignore the EPA.

Both of my stations confirmed that they don't use ethanol. Wouldn't hurt to check, as it's a user-updated list.

>It’s insanity<

Aren’t we expecting a corn shortage in the near future? And yet, Obama’s EPA are charging forward with the introduction of E85 fuels. They’re despicable.

I guess I will have to pour most of the gas on the concrete.....

Not if there’s a liberal getting gas next to you.

Exactly.

Pour it on the lib.

Be kind though. Tell them not to use their cell phone to call for help. ;^)

Make that November 7th, and I’m on board with your assessment.

My good chain saw cost me over $350 in 1993. I will happily pay more for E-free gas to not have to rebuild it.

100LL is definitely illegal for use in anything with a catalytic converter, but I assume it’s OK for engines without.
None of my OPE, including my Polaris ATV has a converter.

You are correct. Many credit card companies have a $75 limit—they say in case your card is stolen. One truck stop near me has that policy, etc. I must go inside & give the girl my card & tell her to restart the pump & give me 2 receipts.

During the last tropical storm I saw on tv that in Cuba about 3% of the families have automobiles.

That’s likely the target for the Obama plan.

IMHO what is this about?

Small engines, especially 2 strokes, you buy a gallon or 2 can do your pre-mix and go.

But it is about anything gas powered and nudging it to stop or use something else.

My guess is GE has a line of battery powered yard tools ready to launch or GM does....
