I’m in Montgomery Co. OH and I see Romney yard signs all the time. Did they run out?

I have been giving to political causes since the 2000 campaign....and this “CYCLE” (2011-2012) I have given more than I ever have....including money to Presidential candidates (we gave to Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and Mitt Romney)...but also to individual candidates all over the country and to some PACs...

I say this just to say while we give in small bits at a time, it does get noticed.

My giving to Mitt in this cycle, to my surprise, has surpassed the amount I gave to Bush in 2004.

a video of O and a staffer discussing how dumb their base is would do it.

This would seem to support what I’ve believed for the last couple weeks or so: the attacks by the Obama campaign aren’t designed to switch or lock in voters, but to drive fundraising after multiple consecutive Summer months of losing the money game to Romney.

The Obama strategy here is two-pronged: pick ideological fights and play up positive (and skewed) polls to generate additional donations from his supporters, while using those polls and charges of incompetence/mismanagement within the Romney Campaign to suppress donations to him from Conservatives/Republicans.

Is that what you are doing in NV? What are Romney's chances in NV? Will it be an easy win in a state that has some of the highest unemployment and foreclosure rates in the nation? Will the SEIU engage in voter fraud like they did in the Harry Reid race in 2010?

Don't hector me. I do plenty in terms of time and money. Cultivate your own garden and bring NV home for Romney.

He still has a massive pile of money in his campaign coffers, and by all margins he's continuing to raise large amounts of money, as we've found through a look into the Center for Responsive Politics' database.

Yeah, and unlike his commie counterpart whose campaign people are complaining about how Obama spends money like no business, Romney's not squandering his away. Imagine that, he knows how to manage his money. What a novelty!

Hmmm. I hope willard will cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. That’ll be a first for a gop candidate for prez. He’s a big enough of a Machiavellian and alinskyite to make it count.

If this is his strategy, he moves up a notch. Timing matters.

I have been hearing rumors that the Romney camp has something big on 0bama. Now that's a real tease. I hope it's not simply a rumor and is coming from reliable sources and he goes for the jugular.

If he does that in this election, he will have blown it. People start voting in the next few weeks. A significant number of ballots will have already been cast before he uncorks this "surprise."

My understanding is that the people who vote early are the "true believers" who are going to vote for a candidate regardless anything that happens. Soft and "swing" voters don't make up their minds until the last week or so of the campaign.

Finally someone to give a wake up call;)

Love your stating the obvious to oblivious is still too bad that FR is against Romney when there are only two choices no matter how bad either may be. It always seemed to me that you vote for the best candidate and if politically active work at the grassroots to change the party - this is what Chicago did to the Dem Party and this is same long process the TEA Party will have to make to ascend to power in the Republican Party.

31 He waits until a few weeks before the election, then carpet bombs his opponent. If he does that in this election, he will have blown it. People start voting in the next few weeks. A significant number of ballots will have already been cast before he uncorks this "surprise."

50 All true - but these ads won't be aimed at solid Obama or Romney voters (who will likely vote early), but at the undecideds. Undecideds generally don't vote early, but wait until the last minute (i.e. election day) in order to see if something tips them one way or the other.

60 You honestly believe after this latest troll to the media that the Romney campaign doesn’t know when early voting starts in various states? They know what they are doing.

... and what about Obama's own "October Suprize"? His people can clearly see MR's previous strategy just like so many here on FR have. Seems mighty risky to wait until the last moment to unlease your not-so-secret weapon if the battlefield has already shifted beneath your feet. Might be his only option though, given the highly partisan bent of the MSM. I suppose the bulk of these ads will be directed at the swing states - seriously doubt I will see any of this in AL. Hope Romney/Ryan knock it out of the park in the debates.

holding his fire until he sees the whites of their eyes...if he did it now, it would be forgotten by Nov. 6th and more time to counter him by the biased media.

We will not have yard signs until last week of Sept.

Some cities don't allow political signs until October.

I can't imagine anything exists that the MSM can't slap down in a day or two. Whatever it is will be listed as another Romney gaffe.
