Republicans Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez both said they support government funded safety nets that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney seemed to criticize in secretly videotaped remarks during a private fundraiser held in May.

And the politicians, locked in their own worlds, are given a kind of "Sophie's Choice"...no real easy way out...of course they're for some kind of safety net but not for a cradle to grave "Julia" type of world.
I smell a media rat.
Nice try Yahoo.
It’s from yahoo..
How will Yahoo's advertisers stay in business when the state doesn't put their product "on the menu" ?
Total media spin.
The bottom of page 74 is the crux of it...But the idea starts at the top of the page and the preceeding page and continuesw.
THIS is EXACTLY what Romney is talking about.
The lexicon of the Democratic Media operative. A real journalist with ethics and objectivity would know that the recording was not secret because the meeting was not 'secret' when, in fact, the video was apparently surreptitiously recorded, likely by a supporter who somehow let the video get out to someone on the net.
You have to remember, Mitt is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Also he is not the best speaker, he lacks the “ Fire in the belly” required to win a National Election. He talks all around a subject, but cannot seem to arrive at a logical conclusion. He might win but it will be because of a lot of money, and lot of hard work by his supporters,Mitt himself has not given anyone a reason to vote for him. I am a “ Broken Glass Republican” and I hate to see us waste another good chance on some third stringer.
That’s pretty telling. Amazing how prophetic our founder and framers were...
Its not just Yahoo. Do a google news search on both Martinez and Heller and you will find numerous articles.
Their respose is heavily influenced by the socialist media which they should be ignoring .
What Romney should now connect are the reasons why those on fixed incomes must go on food stamps and apply for other benefits such as energy assistance etc.
The price of ; goods, services ,food, as well as the cost, use, and type of of energy sources, have all been driven up by Obama through his endless edicts, use of regulations and prohibitions all designed to change the systems of distribution and use of resources to conform to his socialist scheme or ideal. Without any regard to the consequences.

Thanks, vote for the “sharpest knife” and four more years getting knifed!
Media pack rats.
Romney NEVER said anything remotely CLOSE to ‘there should be no safety net’, all he said was folks who only want govt handouts wouldnt vote for him.
