Intelligence sources tell Fox News they are convinced the deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was directly tied to Al Qaeda -- with a former Guantanamo detainee involved.
That revelation comes on the same day a top Obama administration official called last week's deadly assault a "terrorist attack" -- the first time the attack has been described that way by the administration after claims it had been a "spontaneous" act.
"Yes, they were killed in the course of a terrorist attack on our embassy," Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said during a Senate hearing Wednesday.
Olsen echoed administration colleagues in saying U.S. officials have no specific intelligence about "significant advanced planning or coordination" for the attack.

all we have for certain is the word “suggests” was released in 2007 or 2008. We have an unknown, though am betting it is a known.
So what number is this guy? I know there have been numerous former Club Gitmo members who have gone on to bigger and better jihad.
People are afraid. A whole heap of people are afraid. zer0 could have been taken down a long time ago with the truth and the truth has been denied, refuted, disavowed, repudiated, (add as many fifty cent words as one wishes), and the result has been undeniable for four long years; Americans have been lied to. Wonder why everyone is afraid? I truly believe a lot of people care, but I smell fear where there should be none. Why are Americans afraid? Why is the media afraid? Why is Congress afraid? Have the bad guys and girls already won, and everyone (media, congress, supreme court) forgot to tell Americans. Are things this bad?

1.Stephens, 2 Exseals, and 1 attachee were reported in Benghazi. I heard 1 report that 32 people got out of the consulate (not security, or did not act to secure the Ambassador). That leaves 2 Ex-Seals who were not security (our government has now finally revealed this) for the Ambassador.
2.The Attachee was not security.
3. Benghazi is about 1,016 miles from Tripoli (site of Embassy). He was in a vehicle which was not secure.
4. What was an Ambassador doing 1,016 miles from the Embassy in Benghazi, unsecured, without any security or protection, on September 11? Is this what an Ambassador's job description includes?

If the media uses and announces such, it will be another lie. The lies are piling up for a whole heap of people in the media, congress, the executive branch, perhaps even the supreme court. There is a break out there FRiend; it maybe is closer than any of us think. Unanswered and unasked questions rule this day, and the days before this time. May we know some truthful answers soon.
