Heading south to Kentucky tomorrow for the Nationwide race.
It’s football weather here in the midwest - probably the first time I’ve been at Ky without risking heat stroke.

You know it’s Fall when the drivers are going to practice and it’s 6:15am and dark on the West Coast. Watched most of the truck race last night and wonder - are there always so many wrecks in one of those races? Not many fans there; I just can’t feel the love for NASCAR truck racing.

I’ve got old New Hampshire photos rotating thru on the screen saver and I’m getting tinglings to go to another race. The spirit is willing but the body is weak. Oh, never mind, I just had to pee.
The good news is that the weather outlook has improved for tomorrows race. We might get this puppy in after all.

Ah Vox, you take the best photos. When do we eat??
Salmon is good but there is nothing to compare with ribs cooked on a Traeger. Next week we’ll try a Brisket which gets great reviews from Traeger folks.
Cool weather but no rain forecast for race time..
