With giant sign, woman begs: 'Obama, save my home'
Fox ^

TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Angela Agrippa is an emotional wreck.

"This home just means everything to us, it's just going to be so hard to walk away," she said.

That is her worst nightmare, but it could happen in just four months.

Agrippa bought her home back in 1991 for $61,000. She took a couple of home loans out on it over the years. But the sale of a rental property helped her pay off much of those loans years later.

Yeah, he’ll save it. For someone else. A Son of Barack. Or a Daughter of Barack.

Like Reagan said “....government IS the problem.”

Starts off with promoting home buying, allowing (and almost forcing) banks to give mortgages to high-risk people, and giving the banks incentive to do so. Then, when the mortgages don’t get paid, the gov’t comes to the rescue of the banks (too big to fail) with a rescue plan.

Of course if the gov’t would just Leave It ALL Alone things would have worked out for the better. Except for the part where the gov’t gains more power over the banks, the home owner and the taxpayer with each new “rescue” plan.

These are not misguided or failed policies - they are ALL part of the plan.

OBAMA
SAVE
“MY”
HOME

What’s with the quotation marks?

I don’t usually point out such things—if I did so consistently, I couldn’t get anything else done. (Agrippa, you’re also missing a comma.)

I do so now, though, because misused quotation marks can lead to interesting interpretations, and this is one of those times.

Are you liistening,Miss Agrippa?????

Same here. Two mortgages. Both paid off. Raised a family and made sacrifices. Still making sacrifices just to make ends meet with hussein's inflation.

She could sell that nice ring she's wearing. Looks like she spends a pretty penny at the salon getting her hair and nails done. How much does she invest in makeup and clothes a month? Nice outside plantings she didn't need to buy. She could be going through her belongings to have a garage sale. I see she has a file on her HOA - who buys in those neighborhoods? How much did it cost to put up that tarp? She and her 6 year old could easily downsize from a house that size to an apartment.

“The purpose of the modern Democratic Party is to shield its constituents from the consequences of their bad behavior.”

Still looking for a source on that quote.

This woman is delirious if she thinks Obama cares about saving her house. Obama has a half brother living in a CARDBOARD HUT in Kenya making $12 a MONTH and Obamessiah hasn’t given him a DIME to ease his suffering! And she thinks Obama is going to come to her rescue? He is too busy preparing to live in a 35 MILLION DOLLAR MANSION in Hawaii that his friends are going to GIVE him and Moochell to be bothered with some American peasant and her problems.

“her partner of 11 years” died. No insurance/ no marriage obviously. Her house is not under water. A straight refi could have been done, it looks like. Is she looking for more $$ from her home ATM?

Oh! Look at this thread!

It’s an interesting and timely topic. The OP correctly attributed his source as well.

I bet this draws a lot of attention and gets a lot of views.

I’ll give it a bump!

"What’s with the quotation marks?"
I think 'Save "My" Home' references the fact that its not really hers, its only her home if its paid off, otherwise its really the bank's security and their property to be shortly.

FWIW, she could have used an exclamation point right after "Obama" instead of the "missing" comma. ;-)

Let’s see, $61,000 in 1991. 20% down would be a loan of around $49,000. If she got a 20 year loan, and made her payments on time, her balance is
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
$0.00
