President Barack Obama counters rival Mitt Romney by declaring that government can't solve every problem but is not the source of every problem. He says Americans should not only accept responsibility for themselves but also for their communities and the nation.

He says Americans should not only accept responsibility for themselves but also for their communities and the nation. Obama's got a lot of nerve to say that considering he has never accepted responsibility for anything himself!

I’m trying to think of the problems government hasn’t caused or neglected to address.

Now, now, just relax, take a deep breath. Everything will be all right. Just remember to take your meds and you won’t have the institution doctors take away your internet privileges again.

Obama: Government Not The Source of Every Problem
No, Barry. But the government is the source of every problem that is threatening the United States from within right now: spending our grandchildren into tax slavery, an attack on our health care system, the destruction of our coal-fired electrical generation, the looming Taxmageddon, your own edicts with no Constitutional foundation whatsoever, public sector unions supporting Democrats to pass laws that favor public sector unions while bankrupting city, county, and state governments. If we were to get rid of just these things, we would be vastly better off.

It’s certainly a bigger problem for We the People than any rag headed 7th century buggering pedophile with a fan belt wrapped around his scalp...no matter how much We the People are forced to pay Homeland “Security” to tell us otherwise.

Not quite right, Barry. Government beholds a problem, comes up with a solution that doesn't work that requires more government intervention to solve the problem. The original “problem” would have, in 9 of 10 times, resolved itself without the government involvement.
To: lbryce
hmmm....that sentiment is in direct opposition to what Reagan said, one of America's most patriotic and successful presidents in this country's history.
"Government is not the solution to our problem.
Government IS the problem."
~ President Ronald Reagan

Obama: Government Not The Source of Every Problem Nope, I can name a few:
Volcanoes, earthquakes, devastating major storms (you know, "Acts of God")
Other than that, you can justifiably blame government.
