Blocking the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from conducting aerial surveillance of livestock farms to spot Clean Water Act violations would cost taxpayers $1 million a year, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Oh, so the EPA is a for profit business now?

And as a taxpayer I am forced to be a stockholder in it.

“It’s getting to the point that I’ll have to file for a Clean Water Act permit if I want to turn the hose on in my backyard,” Capito said when she introduced her bill in June.

Just wait until politicians catch on and use the EPA for political gain! /s

Ten grand to drive out to a farm and look at cows crap near water... Amazing. Just think if you dropped by five or six farms on the way, you could blow a years pay for a working man in one afternoon.

Sounds like bullshirt Government to me.

President Romney better neuter the EPA, the most tyrannical Federale agency. Bone headed tyranny that hurts our economy but keep those bloated Fderale paychecks coming. It’s their paychecks vs private businesses and our economy. EPA denizens could give a flip about the economic destruction and money loss they cause, just so long as they keep getting their paychecks.

Uh.....how much is it going to cost to rent/lease/service airframes and hire pilots for that same time frame? No one is going to convince me that the EPA will have 1 semi-retired pilot flying an old Cessna 150 to take pictures. EPA, like all other government agencies, are FOS.

Uh, don't they have it exactly backwards?

Eliminating the EPA would save and generate billions and trillions.
