Money or no, she apparently engaged in the unauthorized practice of law. I served on the San Antonio subcommittee of the Texas UPL committee for several years - this is on all fours with a bunch of the complaints we validated.

Surely that explains why Squaw Warren holds an academic position at some bogus podunk p.c. university.

“A Harvard Law professor can’t keep up with simple ed requirements ?

LOL!!!!”

That is pretty rich!!

And she wants to get elected and pass even more regulation for the rest of us.
I hope her supporters turn out in large numbers on November 7th to vote for her.

Scott Brown should take her to the woodshed...another case of progressive dishonesty and circumvention of ethical standards of behavior. Fits in nicely with her claim to a minority status in order to secure a position at Harvard.

So the fake American Indian is also giving out illegal law advice, what a shocker. If she was paid for that she could be in whole heap-um of trouble.

What boggles the mind is that this woman moved forward to place herself in the limelight of a political campaign with all these skeletons in the closet.

Fauxcohauntus...Lie-awatha....whatever she calls herself, she is the bottom of the barrel. What are the poll numbers there?

According to what I just read on Legal Inssurection she is inactive in NJ and Texas and was never licensed in MA. So I’d say she’s in some trouble.

Ms. Warren’s statement comes as a surprise to the many clients she’s provided legal services to over the past decade.....

Whoa!!! It is a felony to practice Law without a License. This should be pursued.

Not being a lawyer is a resume enhancement in the minds of many voters.

BUT IT’S A FELONY if she’s had clients that she represented as a lawyer and has no License. That is a felony!!!

Scott Brown could put two people on this and destroy her credibility. Liberals are the party of liars. Just show it.

A Harvard Law professor can’t keep up with simple ed requirements ?

Don't forget that she was teaching one class a year at Harvard. ONE WHOLE CLASS EVERY YEAR! No wonder she couldn't find the time.

“Can’t keep up with the continuing education requirements.”

NJ just started this 2 years ago. Everyone hates it, of course. They never had to do this in NJ before, even though NY & PA have required it for years. I don’t know about Mass.

I’m pretty sure her firm would have known what state(s) she was admitted in. Even if she was just “of counsel” which can mean about a million things I think it would still have to be reported to their ins. company.

She has refused to provide a client list/cases so we can not tell if there any Massachusetts cases. However there are Federal briefs and reprentations. When she did this work was she admitted to the Federal Bar? If she was not admitted she could still practice under the supervision of an attorney admitted to the Federal Bar. If she was not admitted to the Federal Bar who was the lawyer supervising her and did they know they were? Did they know they were responsible for her work? Did she have malpractice insurance?

As far as her giving up her NJ license because she did not want to deal with the CLE, here's a note from a (liberal) friend of mine who is a lawyer:

That is really suspicious. In Jersey if you do not reside in the state and do not practice there the CLE requirement is 24 credits of usually 2 hours per class, so 12 classes. They have an exception that allows the out of state licensee to do the classes on-line. The cost is $59. So go figure. And the CLE requirement only started last year for Jersey. In 2010 there was no CLE required.

I forgot to mention that you have to be admitted to each District you want to practice in. So if you are admitted to the 9th and want to practice in the 2nd you have to apply and be admitted to the 2nd.

If she gets elected and sent to jail, then Scott Brown can win another special election to fill the seat again. Mostly Tea Party voters show up to those because the Obama voters never heard about elections that Obama’s not running in.

She’s dead meat now, both legally and politically.
