Obama: Stop Blaming Unions, Immigrants, Gays By Fred Lucas September 24, 2012
(CNSNews.com) President Barack Obama told a Wisconsin rally, I dont want to spend all our time blaming somebody else blaming unions or blaming immigrants or blaming gay people or blaming some other group for our trouble.
Obama spoke Saturday at the Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, where he accused Republicans of a go-it-alone attitude.
Their basic philosophy is youre on your own. If you cant afford health insurance, hope you dont get sick, Obama said. If you cant afford to go to college, try to borrow some money from your parents.
Let me tell you something thats not who we are, the president continued. I dont think government can solve all of our problems, but I dont think its the source of all our problems. I dont want to spend all our time blaming somebody else blaming unions or blaming immigrants or blaming gay people or blaming some other group for our trouble. I believe were all in it together.
The reference to unions comes after Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker successfully fought off a union-backed recall effort.

Sounds like someone is beating on the same old drum because he has turnout issues...
” Like Obama blames the rich? “
Except Yahoo, Google, etc, because they back Obama. Go to Google News this morning, and check out the home page. What a joke!
And the basic philosophy of libtards is you are a parasite
Obama is the ‘evil’ that walks amongst us, he sold himself as a ‘uniter’, an organizer,, but left that path a long time ago.. but these media-hyped days, anything goes to get re-elected much less elected.
As opposed to borrowing from Fedzilla for a relatively worthless degree at ann inflated tuition rate which you can never quite pay back? But never quit paying?
There are other alternatives. My father used the G.I. Bill and served in the naval reserve. I took seven years to graduate and worked some interesting jobs during that time to save money. My kids also eschewed borrowing, avoided attending high tuition colleges, and took jobs to minimize their borrowing. All evenutally graduated, the longest took six years because they are a little smarter than their Dad.
In both cases, government involvement directly benefits massive, entrenched interests - not the general public.
It's the only thing he does think, who's he think he's kidding?
Alright Bambi....I’ll just blame your faggot ass for kicking the Constitution to the curb! Take your “gift” and shove it.
Hey Obama ... stop blaming Bush/Tea Party/Christians
No one is blaming Obama for being gay. He is just that way.
Then stop dividing them into your special little groups Barry. Didn’t you say you’re the “president” of everyone? Yeah right.
That is EXACTLY who we are.
And as a society, we have decided that there is a minimal standard we will support, so there's medicaid, and food stamps, and AFDC, and other social safety net programs.
Health Insurance is not a luxury, but it isn't a necessity either. It's HEALTH CARE that people need, not health insurance. Health insurance is just a way to pay for unexpected health care costs -- except government has screwed that up, and now it pays for completely EXPECTED costs, which drives up the price and takes purchasing decisions out of the hands of the consumer.
College is a luxury, but most every state runs community colleges that are relatively reasonable in price. And most employers who care about degrees will be happy to accept community college work.
Further, college is expensive because government subsidizes it. Every time the liberals put a new program together to "pay for college", the money just goes to increased tuition costs, as a payoff to their liberal supporters in academics.
My granfather ran a flower shop. He managed to send his son to college, and my dad got a job, and worked hard. He had to decide between replacing the car or joining a swim club. He made those choices, and managed to help send his kids through college. Now I have a good job, I work hard, I make hard choices, I buy things at thrift stores, I mostly drive for my vacations, and I have money to send my kids to college.
I don't want to pay higher taxes so my next-door neighbor who spent every summer flying around europe and owns big-screen TVs and fancy new cars and has no money can send his kids to the same college my kids go to. Sorry. People make choices. Government should not be our parent, sending us all to college and giving us all health insurance.
Plan A) Draft all college professorial, pay them the same as a Corporal (with some free Government Cheese, naturally) —Have them teach students for free! Take over all colleges and let the Government run them! Lower grades so degrees can be earned by All for just showing up!
Plan B) Restart America all over again. Dump all regulations save the ones we had in 1950.
It's not just Romney saying dumb things. "Conservative commentators" keep reminding that Obama didn't keep his promise to pass amnesty. They are playing with fire on multiple levels.
1) O can reply that at least he amnestied the "Dream Act" illegals by EO
2) The larger point is that they suggest amnesty is a goodie to be spent to buy votes. If Obama does it the GOP "loses" because only one party can do it. Romney not only has the ideological background to be swayed by these fools, but he is literally surrounded by them.
That is desperation on Rs part terrified of growing numbers of Hispanic voters. I hear that Hispanic voters think Amnesty is important just because so many of them have relatives in other countries. I know a few but that is it.
On another part of that Romney clip he confided to his rich donor buddies that he thinks that Republicans(party) need to figure out how to appeal to Hispanics or the party is doomed. Did Republican media show that? I saw it.
That type of approach could help short term as long as those making the case are careful not to be Republicans or appear as their allies. That is why you have an independent PAC type do it playing the unhappy Dem Hispanic, Yes, this is a cynical way of fighting in elections but I don't see too many principles in this race on either side.
That is true. Strange that other families whose relatives would enter legally are not more outraged by illegals, who should not be in the line at all, cutting in, clogging government services.

True, but from what I have seen, Romney advocates just want to score debating points and are not that careful. I may have missed an "unhappy Dem Hispanic," but I do remember standard right wing celebrities like Hannity and Crowley.
Hannity ...LOL, beyond my pain threshold,
I was watching Cavuto’s show from today and he had Monica C on and she said was outraged that the MSM had such double standards after he played a clip of Maddow making fun of Romney.
That is pretty bad when they have to use Maddow as the example of MSM bias. MSNBC is the MSM?
I love Cavuto's show but this was silly. Monica is hopping mad ..
Hannity is right wing ?
Maybe he THINKS he is.
: )
Cavuto is the only thing I still watch on Fox.
