More effort at Obama “hope and change.” This is no more than his continuing effort to rearrange our international alliances/allies from those of “democracies” to those of totalitarians or dictatorships in highly centralized governments. That’s who the zero is and that’s what Islam is.
Yeah sure ... “closest allies” ... we’ve heard that before. Next thing he’ll be telling them they punch above their weight.

Obama himself said eqypt was not technically an ally, remember? So what are our “allies” in the mideast besides israel? Based on obama’s own definition it would seem israel is the only ally in the mideast.
Egypt used to be an ally, but Obama screwed that up.

So, Carney is saying that Obama was ignorant? Because Obama said they were “one of” our closest allies, which means there are others closer. But Carney says Obama was wrong, and that Israel is our closest Ally.
How long before Obama says he’s not sure if they are our friend or not?
