I feel sorry for the residents of those states...the libs from California will attempt to ruin those states the same way they destroyed the Golden State.

As an expat Oregonian, I heartily agree.

I’ve got a friend who came to NC from CA about seven yrs ago. Thank goodness she and husband are good conservatives. (And, yes, they left CA because of what was going on there.)

what do you expect? california has not had a good governor since Reagan?

but it is a liberal utopia, except no one wants to pay for it!

should be one of the greatest states of the union, with the resources available. now its becoming third world. and they even elected jerry brown, again.

if you can’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it.

blessings, bobo

That is for the most part what is going on. The Conservatives are being replaced by the illegals. I have a lot of Conservative friends here in Kalifornia who are considering leaving.

"The states seeing the biggest inflows from California are clustered in the South and Southwest and tend to have lower taxes, and more business friendly regulations"

Gosh, what a surprise. Here I thought all California residents were stupid.

Nevada used to be nice when I was growing up. Now it’s a pit.

Oh crap I left CA for Arizona 5 years ago. Now they are infesting like locusts. I hope most of them are conservatives like me.

You may be surprised how on the mark your comment is. If you follow some local discussion boards on news sites or City Data you will see that places like Washington's Olympic Peninsula, Sand Point Idaho, Kalispell MT are all suffering political ills and losses of civility because of the California liberals who are moving in and 'getting involved' in running everyone's lives.

I fled Kalifornia for Arizona in the late 80s. The only thing I miss is the ocean.

What’s up with the other 48 states?

[I believe Obama said regarding one issue concerning a state, that the other 57 had done something the same or different. Thus he actually referenced 58 states.]

To be kind, he probably meant the 58 contiguous states. That would leave Alaska and Hawaii to round it out at 60.

Gosh he must be a foreign affairs brain trust. /s LOL Hell, he doesn’t even know our situation, let alone the world as a whole.

Welcome to Az ( a little late) I hope that it is just the conservatives moving here. We already have massive problems with another border.

************

We could always just buy land on the east bank of the Lower Colorado....
Then just pull the lynchpins out of the state line...

Let the Land of Fruits Flakes & Nuts drift west & south....
eventually become the next (almost) Hawaiian island...

VOILA!...
...beachfront property in a conservative state...

STEALING??? Hell, we’d be thrilled to give them all back. I’m guessing so would most of the other states. Maybe we should deport them all - hahaha.

Yep—and the most of them are moving to Texas. I’ve already met several of them, and surprisingly they seem to be pretty conservative.
