Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used her Monday evening keynote speech at a Clinton Global Initiative event to push for a new global initiative: a tax on the worlds rich.
One of the issues that I have been preaching about around the world is collecting taxes in an equitable manner, especially from the elites in every country, Clinton said at the annual meeting of her husbands global public policy organization.
It is a fact that around the world the elites of every country are making money, Clinton continued. There are rich people everywhere. And yet they do not contribute to the growth of their own countries.
Citing the need for public schools and public hospitals, Clinton said elites do not sufficiently invest in the public sector and restrict their countries development.
And so it means, for leaders, telling powerful people things they dont want to hear, Clinton added, to laughter and applause.
Although left unmentioned in Clintons speech, President Barack Obama has been actively calling during his re-election campaign for the nations richest to pay more taxes.
The Saudi oil shieks will for sure send in their annual millions of dollars for taxes to you, Hillary. Yeppers....checks' in the mail, sweetie.
Eff you, beotch!
When you write a check for millions to give away to some 3rd world hellhole, I might listen, tho I doubt it.
Redistribution on a global scale, money from the U.S. to the rest of the world keeping us poor and no better than Obama’s third world buddies....
I suggest Soros and pals be taxed at 99.9%.
They just keep selling an income tax on the producers as a wealth tax on the rich. The press never ask if Democrats know the difference.
There are rich people everywhere. And yet they do not contribute to the growth of their own countries.
Huh????
Hillary is as brain-dead as Obama. But then, most anyone with a working brain already knew that truth.
Thanks markomalley.
Thanks Vintage Freeper for posting this:
Who on Earth gave this despicable creature the idea that we “need” to take money from individuals worldwide to give to those who haven’t earned it? I can’t comprehend the “thought processes” that underlie this talk. It’s unreal, like she lives in a parallel universe.
Yep. Ask them how they went from 35,000 entering the WH and are now over 100 mil. You can’t do that giving speeches. Of course, there is always the drug trade.
