Thank you for all of your hard work!
God bless all you - this nation is definitely under seige.
We must vote Obama out of office before he can destroy what is left of America.
ping!
“The signs were much the same on Sept. 15 “Repeal Obama, Stop Spending and Dissent is Patriotic.”
Thats would make sense...the reason for the signs hasn’t gone away...
Great work!
Part of me hopes Romney fails. If he gets in, it's back to Bush II. Nothing will be done to insure the long term health of the country. We'll muddle along like we did before until the next Obama comes along.
Unless schools/universities/movie makers/TV writers/journalists start moving toward conservatism, all is lost.
Typical media BS. The headline should have read:
"Tea Party activists continue quest to RESTORE America."
As we all know, the people who actually want to "change" America is the socialists/communists, who want their unsustainable Utopia.
Much of the country is already socialized.
That needs to be fixed.
The Tea party is trying to KEEP the America of the last couple decades from the destructive policies of the Obama administration.
The Tea party, and the rest of conservatives like me, want Free Enterprise, Capitalism, the US Constitution as written with the Bill of Rights.
Hey, I didn't write the article, I just posted it.
I hate that headline. Tea Party folks do not want to “change” America, we want to “restore” America.
Agreed. They couldn't help themselves, I'm sure. The Post says it is trying to "reflect the community's values" in its' suburban journals - and St. Charles is a very conservtive area. But the reporter is probably from someplace else. I tried my best to insult him and his "ethics" but he didn't bite. I'll bet that was frustrating for him.
Hi, lady! Last time I saw you was at Walter Reed. Nice work with your sign!
ping!
Thank you and God bless.
One small thing I’d like to point out. Notice that Tea Partiers often smile, as in this picture. When they are done protesting, they leave the area cleaner than they found it. Their numbers at protests and marches are not as large as they might be if it weren’t for the fact that they have to take time off from working and raising families. They are people you’d love to work with or have as neighbors.
Notice when we see lefties protesting they are angry, smelly, nasty, dirty, uncivilized, and cranky. They leave a mess behind. Many are paid to show up and many of them don’t even know what they are protesting, only that they got paid to be there. The majority do not have jobs or families. It is not hard to understand why.
Instead of "Change America", they should be promoting "Restore America", and all that made it the envy of the world.
America's success has always been based on the principles of free-enterprise and less Fedgov intrusion. Forget "change". Say "Restore!!!" That should be the word for the TEA Party and ALL conservatives. RESTORE Our system to what made America great from our earliest beginnings. It worked to build a better example on this rock.
Instead of "Change America", they should be promoting "Restore America"
That's not our slogan - that was the reporter's headline. He didn't ask us.
Yes, we definitely have fun out there. The people driving by help when they honk and wave and give us the "thumbs up" (sometimes two thumbs up - while they're driving!) Many times, people will drive by and then turn around and come back to talk to us. When they do, they discover people just like themselves who love America. They discover they are not alone.
But we have fun even with the people who flip us off and yell "Obama!" and even "RACIST!". I think they're taken aback when we just laugh and wave at them and yell "Vote for Romney!"
I will miss it after we win the election. Oh, we'll still get together and organize and strategize, but I'll miss being out there on the street, waving at the traffic.
Quite a track record of attempting to right the ship of state. Thanks for your efforts.
Only one small question, Which O’fallon. Now I can probably guess, based on the letter highway that it would be O’fallon MO. but for those who pass through MO and StLouis enroute points east, and run into O’fallon IL about the same distance from St Louis one does wonder, especially when the ejukayshun background is geography.
