Some Republican or conservative business men need to step in here and donate a few million dollars to Akin’s campaign. The return on investment would be great if the GOP wins the Senate and lots of pro business legislation starts making it past Harry Reid’s dead zone.

The aid from the Senate Conservatives Fund follows Akin's endorsement Wednesday by DeMint and former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, whose Patriot Voices political action committee said it was contributing money to Akin and hiring staff to work in Missouri. The Freedom's Defense Fund, which backs conservative candidates, also said earlier this week that it planned a $250,000 advertising campaign benefiting Akin.

I am not only glad the Conservatives Fund has come to the aid of Akin, I have personally whacked my plastic to inject a few bucks into his campaign. I am NOT going to let the scumbags on the left, or the pantywaists in the RNC for that matter, dictate to me who my candidate is going to be!

I am from Pennsyltucky, but I’ll be dipped in $h!t if I’m going to let the effete snobs (to quote the late George Wallace) in the RNC tell me who I MUST vote for. That’s why I take an interest in what is happening in Missouri! My interests extend waaaaay beyond the borders of my own State, Pennsyltucky. If the Country goes down the tubes, what good did it do that I kept Pennsyltucky “Simon Pure”? It’s a farce! It’s a charade! If the rest of the Country goes into the dumper, so does Pennsylvania! That’s why I must give a hoot about EVERY other state!

Mr. Akin is a good man, and pro-life, so he is worth supporting. Which is why I whacked my plastic for him. If WE don’t support our good men.....or women.....who will?! That’s how our “purist” numbskulls cause us to lose one electtion after another. You never see the democRATS doing such silly stuff! Our candidates should have our support...come hell or high water!!! That’s where OUR PEOPLE drop the ball. They don’t REALLY support their own candidates! Sad. And pathetic. And STUPID, too!

Todd Akin will be a great Senator.

The RINO’s in Washington will regret turning their backs on him.

Go Todd!

Depressing scenario. Clair is to be defeated. Yet, GOP nominee is simply the worst we can field in a race. I do not want to see this buffoon in the Senate. Yet, I can’t live with Claire for another 6 years.

Akin should have stepped aside. He is a selfish and stupid.

WHAT are you talking about? This is a very good Conservative Pro-life candidate. Any of the three in the primary would have been an excellent Senator, and this is the one we chose. This is, incidentally a conservative, pro-life forum. Why bash a great candidate?

False, he is one of the few who has fought back when the grand poo-bahs told him to get lost.
