You accepted Mitt as your representative. I just can’t do that.

There are two candidates but I do not have to choose either of them. My choice is to be irrelevant in the presidential election. But you are right about living in California so my vote has been irrelevant for years. I understand the dilemma for other voters. However I would make the same decision even if my vote would count. In this election it has already been decided and the liberals won.
I concur with your view and have urged specific California Freepers to do the same and redirect their negative Romney attacks and energy to something or perhaps someone positive.
The same is true with money. I have told the Republican Senate Committee that I prefer to direct my contributions as I choose rather than have them spent on candidates I do not approve of.
Exactly my point. Every time I held my nose and voted for a liberal candidate I was giving the liberal RINOs the thumbs up sign. Which resulted in giving a candidate that they don’t even try to claim is conservative. No matter who wins the election the liberals have won.
I am not happy with Romney, but I am sure that on some issues such as abortion Obama's actions would result in many more abortions, particularly for later term fetuses. Thus, as much as I am unhappy with Romney, I know any action I would take to give Obama another four years is wrongheaded. Additionally, Obama would appoint justices to the Supreme Court who would be more pro abortion.

Hmmmm. That’s very true. I must have misunderstood your initial post. I thought you were accusing Governor Romney of such things.
Not a chance. We can better fight from within than without. People will have no patience with Mitt if he strays. Mitt MUST win for America to have a fighting chance of survival. Bob
