The government's war at home
St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 28 September, 2011 | Kurt Hofmann

Posted on 09/29/2012 2:24:36 AM PDT by marktwain

A professor at the United States Military Academy (generally referred to simply as West Point) has recently published an article about "far right violence," naming "anti-federalists" as one of the "three trends of far right violence in the United States." Professor Perliger explains that the "anti-federalist trend" to which he refers is "usually identified in the literature as the 'militia' or 'patriot' movement."

In other words, he is teaching our military cadets that anti-federalists--the ideological descendants of George Mason, Patrick Henry and other "extremists"--along with militias (that which the Bill of Rights identifies as being "necessary to the security of a free state") and patriots represent a terrorist threat to the United States. Mike Vanderboegh provides a detailed analysis of this chilling development.

This is only the latest escalation in what looks to be almost a "cold war" between the government and the people--a war of which most of the people are not even aware. Back in late July, a retired Army colonel who teaches at the University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas wrote an article in the very influential (in U.S. military circles) Small Wars Journal about crushing a "Tea Party insurgency." The article mentions "insurrectionists" often enough to sound like something written by the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.

This, too, has been deftly analyzed by Mike Vanderboegh. National Conservative Examiner Anthony Martin also has two must-read articles about Colonel Benson's "War on the Tea Party."

No, it isn’t. It had been gradually changing over the years. The WTC attack sped it up some and on November 4, 2008, it went to Full Speed Hhead, and is still increasing in speed. When and how it will end is anyone’s guess.
I hope it will end in the right way, but history and time is not on that side.

You’re shouting into a well, Travis.

Americans refuse to believe that they already live under a socialist regime.

I’ve seen that pic before.

Good stuff, Travis. I’m sure we’re all on a list somewhere.

There has never yet been a test of stamping out freedom in a nation so well armed. The German National Socialists went around Switzerland for a good and simple reason.

There is no reason to imagine that American National Socialists would have better luck trying it on our own homeland in the name of “State Security.”

Ten or twenty million “Militias of One” would be very difficult to subdue. Social Network Analysis won't work where there is no social network to analyze.

Something for the budding National Socialist State Security operatives in the fusion centers to analyze very, very carefully.

It is the ultimate consequence of the transition from a citizen army comprised primarily of the state militias and draftees to a standing professional army. The citizen soldier, who is called to service when the nation is in great peril and goes home to live a civilian life once the war is over (think all of our wars through Vietnam), is loyal first to family and community and second to government.

We went to a volunteer Army because in 1973 both parties worked to end the draft (not sure how else you would bring back a citizen soldier Army). Also, citizen soldier armies have a bad habit of getting their asses handed to them at the start of a war before they figure out what they're doing (the Colonial Army, War of 1812-Battle of Niagra, Bull Run, Kasserine Pass, Task Force Smith), which is another reason why the Army wished to go to a "professional" force after WWII since they thought they wouldn't have a chance to go through the classic "get beat first then learn" model witht the Soviets.

A few hundred “Militias of One” in Northern Ireland were virtually impossible to subdue.

Start by 'outing' each of these people. Use the internet to get the background bio's of each of these TSA, LEOs, etc's and post it.
Put all of their info out in public. Their pictures. Where they shop. Pics of them in public places. Their name. Their home address. Their family info. Everything.

Like I said before. Its not going to be for the squeamish. But its what works.

We need to keep track of these gay Che boys and their careers. Bammy won’t be in power forever. This little treasonous jihadist needs a jail cell.

He’s trying to shift the resources for the government’s war on terror from his Islamic jihad pals onto Americans - in particular American vets.

Next time a terror attack happens (and it will since our government is infiltrated with jihad sympathizers and shifting it’s efforts against America’s jihad’s political enemies), remember this inside traitor and what he’s done here when everyone is whinning “what happened.” Blog about it when the time comes. Name ‘em and shame ‘em. Report them and their pro jihad activities to representatives and Senators. Make sure Vet organizations know who they are.

Excellent way of putting it. A 'cold war' indeed.

God help us all if it goes hot, and if it does, you can be assured it will be the FedGov who starts it. That's not the way it will be reported to the sheeple, however -- not from the 'Special Agents in Charge' and certainly not from their ever-reliable lapdog press.

Edmund Burke had some interesting thoughts on this whole subject. The only thing new here is that it's taking place in America.

And what will the rest of the world do? Sit idly by? I think not. If the U.S. is removed from the global scene as a stabilizing influence, the variables become too many to calculate. I predict one thing in common -- they will all drive negative.

I get to Cheyenne, Wyoming quite regularly. The Wyoming Dept. of Homeland Security has an armory in town and now has both a tracked artillary piece and now a full size howitzer parked there. What in the heck does Wyoming Homeland Security need with a howitzer? Seriously, what is it for?
