Will An Obama Victory Spark A Civil War In The US?
The Western Center for Journalism ^ | September 29, 2012 | Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D.

Posted on 09/30/2012 11:35:07 AM PDT by Brandonmark

America is on the verge of fragmentation and civil conflict because its citizens have lost control of their government and lost faith in its political institutions.

Nineteenth century political satirist Ambrose Bierce once described Washington D.C. as a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles and the conduct of public affairs for private advantage.

Indeed. Not much has changed one hundred years on.

The August 27, 2012 Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just eight percent (8%) of likely voters think that the US Congress is doing a good job.

Most Americans agree that the Democrat and Republican establishments are infested by individuals whose allegiance is not to their country, but to themselves and their political party. Their aim is to be unconstrained by the Constitution and the rule of law and unaccountable to the American people. Their conduct is driven by political expediency and winning elections for the sole purpose of obtaining power and profit.

The US has elections, but it no longer has representative government. The US has a free press, but one that is partisan and dishonest.

Why? All this ‘end of the nation’ crap is just RINO BS. If Obama wins, Conservatives will try to wrest back the Republican party from the neocon RINOs. If the country gets as bad as the dramatists state, it should be easy to win in 2016 except, of course, if they nominate another in the long line of neocon RINOs who will lose and again holler ‘end of the nation, I’m your only choice’.

That is why Obama must be defeated by more than 3-4 points because those who support this train wreck will take to the streets in riots screaming that the election was stolen due to racism and theft, the MSM will feed the beast for weeks and months on end and it will not end in a very good way.

But an Obama LOSS just might.

Hmmmm ....makes one wonder about those 12 million give away phones...and just what might be texted on election night!

“I suspect a violent reaction to the election outcome is more likely with an Obama loss.”

The media is already setting the stage for it with these BS polls that show zero in the lead.

The narrative will be: “How could he have lost the election if he was ahead in the polls?”

The desired response of the obama worshipping pavlov dogs after weeks of manipulation: “Whitey stole the election! Kill whitey! Kill the crackers!”

Yeah we’re screwed.

"Will an OBAMA victory cause another Civil War?"

We can only hope that people were ready to defend The Constitution......decades of indoctrination and "feel good" Hollywood/TV-hype has created generations of parasites who are ENTITLED, but have no guts to preserve their independence.

The frog has been completely boiled now, if the Usurper is re-elected (even via Fraud and vote-counting irregularities)

If BHO wins the election which I don’t think he has a ghost of a chance of doing then we will probably see a civil war but not civilians in the streets. The states will start to go their own way and nullify the Feds. Its a lot smarter way to go.

I wrote “Surviving Civil War II” which goes into the structure of the civil war we have already entered. It won’t look like CWI because territory is now the media and Internet. But it is still over slavery, the indentured slavery of our children to the welfare state. Obama can’t count on the military, so he fights with proxy armies of illegals, union goons, OWS anarchists, EPA police and IRS enforcers.

“Here’s hoping he loses and the violence can be contained and put down.”

Thus the need for a lot of hollow-tipped bullets.

No the conservative class are just that, so they will not start anything..on the other hand if obama loses we will have the biggest hell there has ever been in this country..

I look for Romney to win even with all the cheating the democrats do..We the people will have to keep our guns close and use them if we need to..

If Obama does win I really hope there will be States succeed from the Union..let the free loaders stay with their hero Obama they will starve..If you don't work then you don't eat if you stay in the free states..That is the way it was when this great country was started,,everyone worked for their keep..

What’s the point of elections if people don’t trust the process anymore. We can’t trust government as seen with GhaziGate and our media has never been more biased then they are today. People are fed up. We just need to find a reset switch. It’s hard to imagine another war on U.S. soil. Let’s take it to the desert... Keep it fast and clean! lol

No issue of the day is bigger than the President’s ineligibility and the government/media complex covering it up.

I have always believed that the States are the solution to the out of control Feds. However, there is no Governor who has any Warrior blood in his veins or any true love of Liberty to take positive actions.

I have concluded the only way out is to wait (< 10 years) for total collapse and forced "reset" of the Federal monster.

I can't think of any government that once has gained so much power, as the Feds now have, to be "legislated" back to Liberty and limited scope.

With D.C. having 7 of the 10 richest counties in America, they will fight like hell to keep that position.

Also, most local and state governments are infested with legions of sadistic bureaucrats who relish punishing their fellow citizens at every turn. Tyranny is growing at an accelerating pace.

Most of the people attracted to government are evil control freaks.

No, but it might just hammer home the fact that the GOP needs to do better.

Really !!! Are the “occupiers” going to attack and break some windows ?

Civil war I highly doubt - a bunch of pissed off “occupier” types probably.

Libs and gays don’t own guns anyway. That would be funny, a gay guy with a gun.....

No.

The frog has been in the pot for four years now.
So far no signs of being ready to jump out.

Civil war? Who is going to fight who? Where are these “warriors” going to come from? The 20 somethings in this country do not give a rats rear about what is happening here as long as their Ifone is working and their gameboy is working. They have no motivation or desire to sacrifice anything, much less go live like an animal in the woods and fight for any kind of cause.

You can’t even get anyone to challenge the IRS these days, folks just meekly pay what they are told to pay.

There is a much better chance of Aztlan being established in the former south western states than Americans fighting a civil war against each other in the US.
