.............From early childhood, Obama was raised in an intensely anti-American environment. His anthropologist mother hated her country with a passion -- so much so that when her second husband, Indonesian Lolo Soetoro, lost some of his anti-American zeal, she sent her son to Hawaii to save him from his stepfather's pernicious influence and instructed her father to enlist his friend, Frank Marshall Davis, in the cause of mentoring young Barack. Davis,a card-carrying communist of a rabid Stalinist variety but also a black nationalist,did his job remarkably well, infusing his ward with a Marxist-cum-black separatist worldview.

In college, Obama blended eagerly into the far-left scene, as he freely attests in his autobiography, Dreams from My Father (page 101, emphasis added): "To avoid being mistaken for a sell-out, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structured feminists and punk-rock performance poets[.]... We were alienated." It is a nearly complete catechism of a callow revolutionary.

In doing research for his recently released book The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama's Mentor, Paul Kengor interviewed John Drew, a former friend of Obama during the Occidental years. John Drew stated unequivocally that Obama was a fervent Marxist-Leninist who looked toward a "proletarian revolution" in the United States.

At Columbia and Harvard, Obama was further marinated in the fashionable radical ideological stew -- not exactly communism in the traditional sense, but rather radical leftism or neo-communism centered on a rabid hatred for "imperialism" -- i.e., the West and above all America -- and seeking to make common cause with its "victims."

The adepts of the neo-communist ideology view the world as divided into the rich and the poor. The poor are pure and noble by virtue of being poor.......

I believe it was on or the day before Communist May Day (May 1) that Obama announced the new slogan ("Forward").

Obama is the hero of a lot of average Americans who have alwys resented people with more than what they have. They don't hate what America has provided for them, they're not Marx-quoting leftists waving Mao's Little Red Book. Like my friends and most Democrats, many of them never read anything but sports columns and entertainment mags. They just despise the "rich" out of jealousy for what the rich have. Even if the rich do not have much more more or live much better than they do.

I have a number of working-class friends who would inveigh against the rich whether it was their corporate bosses, rich athletes and entertainers, or whoever had a dollar more than they did. To them, Obama represents the shining hero who will make it all right for them. He will take the ill-gotten, undeserved booty from the evil rich and distribute it to them. Even if they don't get any of the booty, the rich will be taught a lesson. The fact that hurting the rich will hurt them as well never crosses their easily confused minds.

Personally, I think we give too much credit to Barack Obama when when we try to figure out what motivates him. A lot of us -- especially those who have grown up in urban areas and deal with people from all walks of life on a regular basis -- have run into a lot of people like him. He's the @sshole who runs for class president in high school on some kind of idiotic, idealistic platform that has nothing to do with education and does nothing to groom students to be adults. He's the jack@ss thirty-something who has never held a real job in his life, but somehow manages to find his way into the most expensive private schools and drive his BMW to private gatherings of like-minded idiots discussing their "revolution" against "the rich white man." He's either Barry Soetoro or Barack Hussein Obama, depending on where he is, what he's doing, and who's paying his bills. But when all is said and done and he finds his was into the White House, he's just an incompetent, stunted, underexposed misfit who isn't suited to do much more than get on television and tell us who he's got in his NCAA basketball tournament brackets.

I can't think of anyone who has done more to discredit the presidency of the United States than Barack Obama ... not because of what he's done, but because anyone who has even a modicum of intelligence and an ambition to improve his or her life just a little bit knows that it doesn't make sense to even waste time with @ssholes like that.

Think about his childhood.

Growing up in Hawaii and wealthy Indonesia is the poor Asian’s version of growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth. Living in Hawaii at the tail end of Vietnam, serving ice cream to make a few bucks in Hawaii, doesn’t make him innocuous to the military way of life, but it’s conducive of a narcissistic childhood.

Obama is actually a figment of Bill Ayres’ imagination. He is a composite creature made up of all of the things that 1960s rich white Marxists adored: West-hating black Third World Marxists (think Franz Fanon), druggy, thuggish American black radicals (pick the 1960s Black Panther of your choice), and a dash of that violent religion that leftists have always found exotic and charming.

I grew up in NYC and I knew innumerable people like this. I went to one of NYC’s special high schools, where most of the other kids were the children of very well off families and could afford to spend a lot of their time staying stoned and having revolutionary fantasies. Every well- off white girl wanted a black radical boyfriend, and every well-off white guy wanted to be one. If said black radical was a foreigner, he was worth even more points on the status scale. A tinge of homosexuality or bisexuality was also valued. Real blacks were of very little interest, and of course the worst possible thing anybody could be was a black person who studied, was interested in something that had nothing to do with sex, drugs or radical politics, and expected to be treated like any other human being.

One thing we mustn’t forget is that Obama is crazy, and the only thing that sustains him is some completely delusional belief in his own almost supernatural superiority. Yet, because this is not based on reality in any way, it is coupled with a sociopathic personality that has no firm shape of its own and morphs into whatever Obama thinks will most benefit him.

So when you look at Dreams of My Father, you’re not even looking at Obama’s wishful thinking about being a Third -World identified anti-Western Marxist; you’re looking at a script for his life, created by Bill Ayres, who was almost assuredly the author of the book. This is one of the reasons that Obama sounds like a Sixties radical, although of course all that belonged to the generation before him and was well over by the time he got out of high school. But the people who created him belonged to that generation, and Obama is like an incarnation of everything they wanted to be. This is what explains his popularity with the press, most of whom are also not of that generation but are in a field that was profoundly influenced by it and whose members regard the Sixties as their glory days.

Ayres, of course, goes back to Saul Alinsky and the gang, the radicals of the generation preceding him. They were all Marxists of the worst possible stripe.

So I think Obama is all of those things, Marxist, Muslim and anti-colonialist, because they were part of the package. However, like any monster created by any Dr. Frankenstein, I’m not sure how controllable he is by them anymore. His bizarre personality or lack thereof swings from one of these things to another and his native lack of intelligence and inability to concentrate, coupled with his feeling that he doesn’t really have to do anything, he’s so special that he just has to be, make him very unpredictable and very likely also to turn on his creators at some point.

I think that in recent years, since becoming president, he has decided that what he really wants to be when he grows up is a third-world Islamist dictator, living the good life while his minions keep the population in line and he emerges once in a while to give free phones to the underclass which is, for some reason, always the group that loves and supports the very people who are holding them down. Notice that some of the biggest secular Marxists have actually left his administration lately, and have nothing to say about him. I think the monster has started to move on its own, and we should all be very worried.

I think that’s one of the things that makes Obama so hard to “debate.” Reality means nothing to him and is whatever he says it is; he’s not lying when he denies something that happened, but instead is simply revising the past in view of his needs, and in his mind, everything is magically changed so it’s not a lie. So in many ways, there’s nobody there to debate, because Obama can be anything he wants at any time that he chooses.

I don’t think Romney is a very good debater in general, but he’d probably be able to do a creditable job if he were simply debating another normal politician, and not a shape-shifting phantasm.

The only one who understood this is Newt Gingrich, who has the intelligence and background to be able to identify Obama as what he is, and would be relentless in calling him on it. Obama would probably have a melt-down in front of the television audience and we would be looking at the Dems having to vote for Biden or whoever was picked as a last-minute replacement candidate!
