Immediately after the murder of Chris Stevens, America's Ambassador to Libya,I suggested that the assault on the US consulate in Benghazi on September 11 could have profound consequences for President Barack Obama,particulary if he failed to take appropriate action against the murderers–the most likely candidates being members of al-Qaeda's new terror franchise in Mali.
But with the US presidential contest entering its critical final phase, the Obama administration deftly avoided getting into any controversy over the murder of Mr Stevens and three other members of the consulate staff by leading everyone to believe the murders were not part of an al-Qaeda plot, but the result of an outbreak of violence caused by a blaphemous film clip. This was certainly the line advanced by Dr Susan Rice,the American Ambassador to the United Nations, and a close confidante of Mr Obama.

But the real smoking gun is whether the Obama administration was warned in advance that al-Qaeda was planning an attack. A number of Israeli newspapers have suggested that Washington was warned as early as September 4–a week earlier–that the environment in Benghazi was becoming increasingly hostile and anti-American,while in London the Foreign Office took the decision to withdraw all its consular staff from Benghazi two months before the murders. This decision was based on an intelligence assessment made by MI6 that al-Qaeda was openly operating in the area following a failed assassination attempt on Sir Dominic Asquith, Britain's ambassador to Libya,in June.
It is well known that British intelligence works closely with its counterpart in America,and if MI6 knew al-Qaeda was operating in the Benghazi region,then it is highly likely that the CIA did too.
Suddenly the Administration's "it's nothing to do with us, guv,"defence is starting to look rather thin, with potentially disastrous consequences for Mr Obama's re-election prospects.

Obama & Company probably figure that if a "smoking gun" is uncovered before the election, only the foreign media will report it. Or he will drop some bombs on some target to look Presidential, like Clinton used to do.

First, Obama could have used this to spike the OBL ball even more. He could have come out swinging on this and looking like a real leader. Imagine his response having been ...America was attacked in Libya today by al-queda. While we did go get OBL, we are still facing a deadly enemy and like OBL they will be tracked down and brought to justice....like the hit on OBL and the other drone strikes. This could have made him look tough and strong.
He didn't play it that way....why? His world view? Or the whole regime looks like a bunch of highschool kids who got caught smokin’ weed in the boy's room.
I also think, unlike many here, Obama is no fool, not uneducated, and is accomplishing everything he set out to do. It is just we don't want what he does. So we discredit him or his intelligence..when he is actually pretty smart, if you realize what his endgame is.
So for me to make the leap that Obama had this Ambassador taken out either by our own security officers/teams/marines/cia or by paying off terrorists to do it ...would not surprise me.

So in this case what they used as the ‘lie,’ has ignited the middle east in rage. They did not need to lie. They could have simply said it was under investigation. BUT...they could not say that as they knew there would be no investigation either. So ...they needed another lie. What embassy got attacked yet today? All based on 0bama’s little lie about an assassinated ambassador in Libya. It is not just about how badly this was handled as to collapse the Middle East foreign policy, it isn't even the lie that is so troublesome.
My Peruvian experience is limited to an hour or so at Lima’s airport in the 80s. I’ve known a lot of people who’ve worked there and for a while, it was pretty hairy, what with the Maoist Shining Path guerrillas. By all accounts, it’s more or less settled down now, and would probably be a pretty good tour of duty.

Perhaps turning a blind eye and therefore allowing the ambassador's murder was some kind of "payment due" in Muslim money.

I still maintain Valerie Jarret is in this up to her earlobes. Also this is starting to make sense that she has 24/7 secret service now. She is a nobody - but she obviously is in danger with all the CIA connections.
One more question. Why is David Patreaus at the helm of the CIA? What part is he in all this? He is a good man. Blackmailed somehow? Will they dump this on him?
You never get in the way of your enemy's mistakes. The better question is ...where is the press? Why are we not seeing all these embassies under attack or on fire with al-queda flags flying over them?

Funny how leftist idiots think it entirely plausible that George Bush was warned about 9-11 but they can’t piece together any scenario where obama would politicize the murder of our ambassador.

Gee, here is my prediction just from past experiences with the GOPee down their legs and the Obama administration.
Hillary won’t answer these questions as she will just ignore them as in the past. Obama will campaign as if things are hunky dorie... The GOP will act tough and do little but just give lip service on political shows that they did bad and show us they somewhat care to get the truth....then...it will go away.
In addition to the blood of border patrol agents and hundreds of Mexicans, Obama now has the blood of one of his own administration on his hands. His bloody hands will be dripping on his podium tonight as he seeks to divert attention from his murderous ways.
His end is nigh........ we can only hope the nation survives his final days.

Lots of us knew in 2008 what this guy was / is. The MSM was just in LOVE with a black guy - he's only 1/2 black and hates his white 1/2 and wanted this to be historic. Well, it sure is. AND I agree 150% that he knows EXACTLY what it is he's doing. He has his minions in place to do all his dirty work, that's why he's free to play golf, basketball, watch ESPN, etc. He's a token to be used by the likes of Geo. Soros $$$ and Van Jones types, Anita Dunn, Arne Duncan and on and on... The Hillary/Bill thing is interesting, too, in that they hate certain things about America / hate the Jews, Military, etc. and they traded technology to the Chinese for campaign cash. Wasn't it just amazing the Chinese came out just recently with that nifty fighter jet design - oh wait.... it was just like ours. Hhhmmmm?
