Obama only won California AA's by 48% -41%
Immediately following tonights presidential debate between Republican Mitt Romney and Democrat Barack Obama, SurveyUSA interviewed 1,000 California adults, of whom 869 watched the debate. California is a Blue state and not surprisingly in California, significantly more Democrats watched the debate than Republicans. Given that, it is particularly striking to find: * 48% say Romney was the clear winner. * 34% say Obama was the clear winner. * 18% say there was no clear winner. * Men by 24 points say Romney was the clear winner. * Middle-income viewers by 27 points say Romney was the clear winner. * Only those age 18 to 34 see the debate as a draw. Viewers age 35+ see Romney as the clear winner. * Only African Americans see Obama as a narrow winner. Whites, Hispanics and Asians see Romney as the clear winner. * Even greater San Francisco sees Romney as a narrow winner. Greater Los Angeles, the Central Valley and the Inland Empire all score it for Romney. * Republicans by 78% to 13% say Romney won. * Democrats by 55% to 25% say Obama won. * Independents, the most critical, coveted and arguably most dispassionate group of debate watchers, say by 34 points that Romney is the clear winner. * Moderates, who typically vote 2:1 in favor of Obama, see Romney as the winner by 15 points. * Debate watchers split on who they trust more on the economy, a significant moral victory for Romney in California. * Debate watchers say Obama was not forceful enough. * Debate watchers (disproportionately Democrats) say Romney was too forceful. * Narrowly, debate watchers say Romney had the best one liner.

Sissy Matthews is having a heart attack...
“Only those age 18 to 34 see the debate as a draw.”
Hard to assess how The Chosen One is doing in between bong hits. But even California slackers can guess right 50% of the time.
Obama even lost the hispanics in CA...epic.
The liberals are having their own meltdown in the The liberals are in panic mode in the political forums.
The Emperor has no Teleprompter....I mean, clothes!
With California, more like a D75/R2/FruitsAndNuts75.
46% of Americans trust Obama more on the economy?
Is this country really that deeply stupid?
46% of Californians...in this poll.
Last night was all about the economy. How can you say Romney won the debate and trust Obama more? People are so dang confused, uneducated. Stupid public education.
Anyway, Romney clearly won.
There’s NOBODY who is denying that.
No. “Intentional” public education. This is the desired result. Dumb down the public and lead them with bread and circuses.
(BTW, I didn’t mean you personally in the previous post, meant people in the survey, sorry, too early in the morning here).
I have such a hard time watching debates because I get so angry at the leftard and the inability of the republican candidate to stop them on their lies and distortions. But, I did watch last night, for a bit, and survived a lot of post debate coverage.
I even switched over to MSNBC for about 2 minutes to see what they were doing. I have heard they are in the tank for Obama, but I was quite shocked.
The focus group on Fox was very interesting. Young people, women, very affected by Romney’s performance. About 3 staunch Obama supporters claiming they were undecideds, whatever! One claiming that Romney had no details... I wanted to ask him: remember healthcare? No details. Obama can’t even address his own healthcare plan because I don’t think anyone knows the full details, except it is going to be hell.
Oh, and one final thing, Planned Parenthood running ads all night. I am truly amazed how brazen we have become about abortion.
Oh, absolutely it is the end intent, to develop a passive public who finds “reality tv” more important than knowing what is happening in politics, and ultimately our nations survival.
Which candidate looked sheepish and unprepared, yammered and hemmed and hawed, acted like a scolded schoolboy who failed his arithmetic test, and was a clear example of all that's wrong with Affirmative Action?
What percentage of Lady Parts thought Romney won?
That’s only a poll saying anything about California. With a 9% response rate, all polls are garbage these days.
I graduated HS in 83. The stuff my daughter graduated with calling itself an education in 2007, I learned in literally the third grade.
I can only imagine how bad it is now that Zero’s empire of stupidity holds total sway in the ed system. Extrapolate those Lobotomites through college and into the leadership in 20 years and it’s the end. No culture/civilization can survive a literal Idiocracy.
I’m not suprised by Planned Parenthood. When you think killing babies is ok, then you have no standard by which to judge your own behavior.
