Magically the number falls to 7.8 and when Obama took office the number was 7.9.

Rush called this months ago. The number of “government” workers started going up the last few months.

PHONY AS THE DAY IS LONG!

This is one of the many tricks in store for the next month.

I doubt (at least I severely hope) that the people will not be fooled by these manipulations.

Is it true 750,000 dropped out of looking for work last month, helping to reduce the UE number?

Only 114,000 jobs added, yet the rate drops from 8.2% to 7.8%.

How many hundreds of thousands dropped off the rolls to get to this number?

They have overplayed their hand with this. This discrepancy is so large, people will be forced to focus on the internals.

What a LIE. And I don’t always get tough on these things....but think about this.

Forecasts said we would gain about as many jobs as the report found and STAY at the same unemployment rate.

Well, guess what....the job gains were almost spot-on yet somehow we have a huge drop in the rate?

This is a LIE or it s simply caused by people stopping looking for jobs.

One report said "there have been several mid-year revisions." LOL!! So only 114,000 jobs added, but the nomber of unemployed fell by over 450,000? Where did those 350,000 people go.

This is Orwellian. The road to banana republic status starts with corruption like this.

What a surprise! The number of jobs created this month was 30,000 less than last month...but they magically knocked off .4% from that percentage of unemployed right before the election, so it was way under the dreaded 8%.

I guess that 50% of college graduates who can’t find jobs should go to the Labor Dept. They’ve found half a million jobs there in the last month.

What a bunch of bad liars this administration is!

Exactly. 28,000 fewer jobs created yet the unemployment rate goes down 3 tens of a percent? 114,000 nonfarm jobs in Sept.(104,000 private sector) vs. 142,000 in August.

144 million Americans had jobs in 2008. Only 139 million do today. quibbling over 100,000 jobs for the month, and who is and isn't looking anymore, should be irrelevant to the GOP talking points. The sheeple don't understand what goes into the percentage, only that the number goes up (ba-a-a-a-d) and it goes down (goody!).

Show them the 144 vs 139 million, and THAT they will understand very clearly. No spin can change that... which is why the numbers are rarely presented that way.

Recall the debate. Romney told Ø “You’re entitled to your own house, to your own plane, but not to your own facts.” Obama is trying to invent his own facts. Romney needs to educate dumb voters about this and can tie it into memories of the debate.

So we should prepare for the More Sunny Weather miracle job reports in the next 2 consecutive weeks, with miracle recovery ‘numbers’ and sob stories to occupy the print press and airwaves. Don't you dare believe your own eyes and ears.

In the meantime Obama probably will start an unauthorized ‘war’ against some ‘wink'unknown’wink’ entity to appear to be ‘decisive and presidential’.

Got it.
