There is ice cream onboard - headed to the astronauts up on the Space Station. Hopefully it doesn’t melt before it gets there.

Private enterprise getting a bigger foothold into space, but I don’t think NASA will ever be dissolved.

It's in a working freezer. The freezer is taking stuff up, ice cream was put in to fill the empty space around the real stuff, and bringing stuff back. The freezer is supposed to work the entire time.

I would want to know just what was being shipped with the ice cream before I ate any. Lots of lab freezers have stuff in them I wouldn't want to store ice cream next to. ;)

I don’t know why - but I’d prefer this was NASA rather than Elon Musk.

NASA gave a sense of pride.... SpaceX not so much.

For the most part, NASA hasn't had a vision in a long time, but SpaceX does.

SpaceX still gives me pride in spite of Elon Musk being a liberal African American.

I noted to the space agency researchers that “tang” was nothing but sugar water and bad for the animals, (primates). I developed, with a friend from Harvard, a product that we called “PRANG” Primate Rehydration and Natural Goodness. made up of electrolytes that were necessary for the Primates used. Sort of like a “sport” drink. before “sport” drinks arrived..

Took TANG right off the page!

[cabinet has been debating putting water on the plants instead of "PRANG" Brawndo]
Pvt. Joe Bowers: What *are* these electrolytes? Do you even know?
Secretary of State: They're... what they use to make “PRANG” Brawndo!
Pvt. Joe Bowers: But *why* do they use them to make “PRANG” Brawndo?
Secretary of Defense: [raises hand after a pause] Because “PRANG's” Brawndo's got electrolytes.

“SpaceX still gives me pride”

not sure why.... NASA was part of an American dream of going to outer space vs one man’s vision to make money.

NASA was a national risk we all shared.... If SpaceX goes belly up it won’t make me sad, even though Elon got $1.6B from NASA.

NASA needs a visionary - not a contract with one.

NASA was part of an American dream of going to outer space

Most of NASA's accomplishments and the blank check they received were due to our reaction to the Soviets putting Sputnik and then Gagarin into orbit.
