I just called members of the school board down there. Actually got to speak directly to one of them. Apparently there was some misrepresentation on the part of the group that came in to register the students. A speech was given that was supposed to be nonpartisan but surprise, surprise, it apparently wasn’t. Law enforcement is now involved in the investigation.

Well put!

I think voter registration should be limited to the secretary of state office and they shouldn’t have to ask.

We have too many stupid people voting now.

Just remember that this is part of the wonderful public education (indoctrination) system that the Democrats love throwing money at with NO expectations that kids will actually learn something . . . . . . . . . . . at least something useful, NOT liberal brainwashing!

The political divide in this country, driven by the left, is reaching levels that make the prospect of reconciliation betwen the left and the right very difficult if not impossible. While it would ultimately make things much better, I believe that we are heading for a time when there exists in this world a United States of Conservative America and a United States of Liberal America with a border that separates the two.

The political divide that exists is directly the result of corrupt, power-mad politicians who seek power and wealth at ANY cost - even if that means fracturing this country.

I think people should show up in person, with ID, at City Hall or the County Registrar to register to vote. That they should do this for EVERY election, no voting rolls that last till long after you are dead.

Your hypotheticals are not mutually exclusive.

I suppose we could also end up in a Bush/Gore type situation, it seems there are ways to get to a tie in the electoral college.

I think if Romney can just maintain the edge he gained in the debate he’ll prevail by a convincing enough margin. Oh yeah, and all his lukewarm supporters on the right, who already know/knew all about him, have to turn out.

Even setting aside all the good, extreme right arguments about Obama (that he’s a commie/closet commie; that he’s a secret muslim/muslim sypathizer; that he hates/want to take down several notches America and white people) ALL of which I believe (in one variant or another of those I posted) - he’s been a very poor president.

He hasn’t helped the economy enough, his foreign policy has lost Egypt and led to the murder of our Ambassador to Libya and several others, no one can really doubt that Al Queda, et al are emboldened by him.

And further, he’s out of ideas. He’s got 3 ideas left: raise taxes on “the rich”, invest in “green energy”, hire more teachers/cops/firemen.

Mitt Romney DESERVES to win this election. He MIGHT be awful too (although I can’t believe he’d be worse than Obama Part Deux); but if he is he’ll get the gate in 4 years.

I think his showing at the debate is sufficient for the swinging middle to give him a shot. If we “partisans” show up too I think he makes it across the finish line.

And then, come what may, at least we’ll be rid of Barry and Michelle. And Valerie. And Eric.

Save the outrage, find a crime to charge the stupid school officials with and have them arrested. Failing that, organize msitins in front of their homes.

Pasco is in the critical I-4 coridor that cuts FL in half.

Obama is doing the “new voter” strategy.

Where is the injuction for parity?

This is a no brainer.

outrage means nothing.

then again for the first time ever I have seen a judicial FL SC retention ad. That just screams vote NO on all judges.

Leftists don’t worry about ever being shamed, because they have no moral and ethical principles that would cause them to be shamed.

Here in Michigan, our SOS went through all the voter registrations and purged thousands of dead and ineligible voters. She probably didn’t get them all but the feds wouldn’t help a bit.
