If you visit the link, you see that it is posted by the Obama campaign and contains the disclaimer “I’m Barack Obama and I approve this message” - indicating it is apparently also being aired as paid advertising.

Romney should come back with an ad that goes something like....
"Benghazi! Fast & Furious! Solyndra! Five dollar a gallon gas! And all Obama can talk about is....Big Bird? Finally. An issue that is not above his pay grade."

You do understand, don't ou, that anyone could take that snippet and add it into any weird (or pornographic, or illegal) video that they created, right?
It's quite a bit more ignorant to believe everything you see, without any bit of logical skepticism.

I think the MSM would just be happy if Obama showed up to the podium.

Using Big Bird in an ad actually makes sense in a certain way. Convince kids that Romney wants to kill Big Bird and they will be upset. They go to their parents crying that Romney wants to kill Big Bird, and they vote against Romney because he upset their kids.

You do realize that in the aftermath of the debate, someone mentioned that the debate was like ( and I can’t remember which candidate they referred to) just gave the country a giant big bird, meaning a middle finger salute.

The big bird represents a middle finger salute. It was part of the discussion following the debate on one of the left channels, maybe Current, Al Gore’s channel.

It’s real, all right; Fox showed it this morning. It’s one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen, LOL. It almost makes you feel sorry for.....

Big Bird: 43 years old. Hangs in street with kids all day. is on Public Dole. Any 43 year old hanging out with kids is a pedophile and we are supporting it with tax dollars.

I think it is a great SPOOF..but as an official ad??? What a joke. they should have let someone anonymous person post it without the approval of the campaign..and let it go viral.

Ropin’ hits it on the head. The only thing missing is laughter from a live audience in NYC.
In the primary I knew Newt was in real trouble when he ran a web ad attacking Romney for knowing how to speak French.
In 1980 Carter, seeing his horrifying internals, started running an ad that showed him praying at his desk.
This smells like desperation, and it’s a base turnout ad. The One should have all the Dems fired up and instead he has to use Big Bird to convince them to go to the polls.

Yes, I agree with you, BUT for that to be the case, Rats would have to have a sense of humor. And of course they don't. ;)
