He is making all the right life choices - military and Congressional. He needs more time to become fully knowledgeable and we need more space from Obama.
Imagine his voter base;0 Men, women, blacks, whites, military, young, old, Conservatives, recovering Democrats.

It is a crap gerrymandered district that has had the esteemed impeached judge alcee hastings as its congress thief for qutite some time now.
West is the REAL DEAL.

Shows us that the American people DO want a leader. West certainly is one, and the debate last Wednesday showed the nation that Romeny is also.
BUT--they are the kind of leaders who are willing to fight by joining in the battle and committing their sacred honor and fortune to it.
Obama is too much like a dictator, urging other people to "enter the fight" while he stands back to enjoy the adoration of the masses while refusing to make the sacrifices "fighting the good fight" requires.
God bless Allen West--and Mitt Romney!

The next few years of redemption will provide plenty of time to reflect on the mistakes of the first Black _resident. 2008 was more ‘historic’ than practical/logical- plus, the DNC, & media ill-served all Americans by not vetting the candidate. The conservative Alan West will be thoroughly examined and criticised by the MSM.
Does this mean that the National TEA Party or whoever they are will FINALLY knock off the Bull Shiite and STOP saying West is behind so they raise money?

Fear not. The polling companies need clients after any election to stay in business. If they're too far off the mark on final election results, they drop to the bottom of the future "do business with" list. Their company heads, owners and staffs have to eat like anyone else.
This is why polls tend to tighten or become more accurate as election day looms. We're already seeing figures in a realistic range from a few of the more responsible polling companies.
Keep your eye on Rasmussen, they were the most accurate last election. The company is still screwing around in its reports to keep everyone is a state of dither, fascination......and addiction to THEIR numbers and brand name.
But begin to pay attention to them a few days before the Big Day when most of the pollsters pretty much have ceased their conniving and numbers-cooking.

I *did* get a “3rd party” group email trying to convince me to give money to them...because supposedly a new poll showed Allen West NINE POINTS DOWN.
I usually give straight to the candidate, and I have given to Allen in the past...and this “panic” email sounded fishy.
Has anyone else in Florida gotten such an email? Sorry I do not remember who it came from.

The FL GOP and FL House (GOP run) also screwed over Sandy Adams/John Mica....putting them in the same district...while opening another district that helped ALAN GRAYSON...yes that ALAN GRAYSON
The FL GOP may be the worst atate level GOP organization in the land.
I live just south of Col. West’s district and I was somehow gerrymandered into Federica Wilson’s district, which is 90% Dim. As of yet, her only successful action in CONgress was to get the Weeper of the House to allow her to wear her crazy hats on the House floor.
Pray for me.

You are aware that the FL legislature had its hands tied due to the sub-moronic constitutional amendment adopted by FL voters that requires districts to be as compact as possible, right? And that FL Republicans could no longer draw a skinny FL-22 along the coastline in Broward and Palm Beach Counties that excluded heavily Dem areas, right?
There was no conspiracy to get Allen West. The idiots in your home state forced the legislature to draw less gerrymandered districts, and it hurt folks like West who were in marginal districts that depended on gerrymandering to keep them from leaning Democrat.
BTW, the same pollster that found West to be up by 12% in his new disatrict (FL-18) found Republican Adam Hasner to be percentage points ahead of Lois Frankel in the ungerrymandered, Dem-leaning successor to West’s current district (FL-22):
Hasner, who is Jewish and had a terrific conservative record in the state legislature, is probably the one Republican who can win in the redrawn FL-22, which has a large Jewish population. This would be a HUGE victory for the GOP, and could be the start of a realignment of Jewish voters in Southern Florida—away from the anti-Israel Democrats and towards the GOP.
