Mitt Romney now trails by only 6 points in New Hampshire, according to a new poll released Tuesday evening.
The latest WMUR Granite State poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, shows President Barack Obama leading Romney among likely voters, 47 percent to 41 percent. Obama held a 15-point lead in last week's Granite State poll, which was conducted Sept. 27-30.
The latest poll was conducted Sept. 30-Oct. 6, with 57 percent of the responses coming before the Oct. 3 presidential debate in Denver. As has been the case with other post-debate polling shifts, Obama has seen his once-considerable lead among female voters evaporate. Last week, the president led Romney by a staggering 27 points among New Hampshire women; in Tuesday's poll, Obama's lead among the voting bloc is only 9.
The PollTracker Average still shows Obama maintaing the solid lead in New Hampshire that he has built up over the course of the race.
Obama is all in on Ohio, only place his internal polling shows he has ANY chance of winning. Florida, NC, Va, Co, are goners, its over, some polling outfits are not even poling there anymore. Romney needs to begin flowing resources into Wisconsin, Michigan, Pa and Ohio. He will win 3 of the 4 of those and election over 11pm. Amazing some Freepers still fret and want to argue the world is flat, the polls are corrupt and tainted. The empirical data on early voting, party registrations, etc, tell us its 2010 all over again. Romney can’t run the ball all three downs but he does need to keep doing what he is doing and turn off MSNBC, Fox, MSNBC and CNN. They are deluded painting this as a horse race, over for Magic Negro.
“NY, CA, MA, VT, P.R., D.C., IL, and HI, ...
One wonders if there are any other truly sure-thing states for Obama.”
Unfortunately, I think Washington State is another one. There are many parts of the state that are or lean Rep, but Seattle and the I-5 corridor (which include Tacoma and Olympia) are heavy blue and major population centers.
We’re replacing our Governor this year (good ol’ gov Fraudoire). Rob McKenna (R), the current Att’y Gen, bucked the gov and the Dims and joined the other states in the Obamacare law suit is against Jay Inslee, current Dim rep in Congress. Unfortunately, I suspect the Jayster will win and continue to increase taxes and deficit on our state.
I think you can probably add Oregon to your list. The Dims/tree-huggers from California have been infiltering our lovely states for many years.
I would also add NJ and MI, though they could surprise everyone.

With less than 4 weeks left in this campaign... the ‘Arrow’ is pointing in the direction of Romney and obviously, away from Obama. The ‘MO’ is not in Obama’s direction, not good in a ‘close’ election with the challenger having the ‘MO’ and time closing in - PLUS also with the incumbent being an incompetent fool, he basically has no useful tools to use at the end.
So let me get this straight, New Hampshire flips 300 seats in 2010 and its Democrat registration is down 19.5% and this state is a toss up or whatever? Yeah right!
