Democrats Freak Out About Ohio
RS ^ | October 9th, 2012 | Erick Erickson

The Democrats are in a full on freak out over Ohio. Harry Reid is giving his Super PAC $250,000.00 to run ads attacking Josh Mandel.

...

Senator Bennet of Colorado is sending out emails to his supporters with the subject line “Buckeye for a day.”

...

This isn’t just to help Bennett. This is to help Barack Obama too. The Democrats are going all in there.

Consider, in contrast, Missouri, where the GOP has totally bailed on Todd Akin and the Presidential race in Missouri likewise went from a sure thing for Romney to now a borderline toss up. The Democrats know how to play and rally.

Le Freak

by Chic
from Roll Bounce Soundtrack

Chorus:
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C’est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C’est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C’est Chic
Freak out!
Aaahh Freak out!
Le Freak, C’est Chic
Freak out!

Have you heard about the new dance craze?
Listen to us, I’m sure you’ll be amazed
Big fun to be had by everyone
It’s up to you, It surely can be done
Young and old are doing it, I’m told
Just one try, and you too will be sold
It’s called Le Freak! They’re doing it night and day
Allow us, we’ll show you the way

(Chorus)

All that pressure got you down
Has your head spinning all around
Feel the rhythm, check the ride
Come on along and have a real good time
Like the days of stopping at the Savoy
Now we freak, oh what a joy
Just come on down, two fifty four
Find a spot out on the floor

(Chorus)

Now Freak!
I said Freak!
Now Freak!

All that pressure got you down
Has your head spinning all around
Feel the rhythm, check the ride
Come on along and have a real good time
Like the days of stopping at the Savoy
Now we freak, oh what a joy
Just come on down, two fifty four
Find a spot out on the floor

(Chorus)

The anti America traitors at Move On are panicked about what is happening in Ohio and some other key states. Below is Move On’s recent email re their problems in Ohio:

Dear MoveOn member,

There’s breaking news from Ohio. And it’s not good.

For months, shady outside groups have flooded the Ohio airwaves with almost $20 million in ads targeting Sen. Sherrod Brown.1

And for months, he’s withstood the onslaught, holding on to a six or seven-point lead.2

But this weekend, two new polls came out—one showing a tied race and the other showing Sherrod down four.3

This is, in a word, unacceptable.

Sherrod Brown is a fearless fighter for working people who has taken Wall Street head on, and now he’s paying the price. We can’t let Karl Rove and his big money backers win this one. We cannot let it happen. Can you donate to make sure we keep Sherrod in the Senate?

Yes, I’ll donate $5 to win in Ohio.

Senator Brown isn’t the only progressive who’s facing an onslaught of big money this year.

In Wisconsin, conservative Super PACs are hitting Tammy Baldwin after polls show her taking a small lead over her opponent.4 Tammy’s another great progressive, who led the fight in the House for the Buffett Rule—to make millionaires pay their fair share.5

Her opponent, Tommy Thompson, on the other hand, has spent years working for a D.C. lobbying firm fighting for special interests.

In Connecticut, it’s not outside money that’s the problem. It’s Republican Linda McMahon’s almost unlimited personal wealth. She spent $50 million on her failed Senate bid in 2010 and has already spent more than $13 million this year.6

But Chris Murphy’s values—fighting for campaign finance reform and quality health care—are much more in line with Connecticut’s voters’, and he’s opened a small lead.

These are races we have to win. But Tammy, Sherrod, and Chris need our help.

Thanks for all you do.
