You dont win a nationally televised debate by being rude and obnoxious. You dont win by interrupting your opponent time after time after time or by being a blowhard. You dont win with facial expressions, especially smirks or fake laughs, or by pretending to be utterly exasperated with what your opponent is saying.
Thats why Vice President Joe Biden didnt win the one and only debate last night with his Republican rival, Mitt Romneys running mate Paul Ryan.

Theres one person who should be delighted with Biden. Thats Al Gore. He had the honor of having delivered the most over the top and weird performance in a presidential campaign debate when he sighed and frowned and acted frustrated in his first debate with George W. Bush in 2000. Now Biden has taken that crownor dunce capfrom Gore.
The only good thing about Thursday nights debate for the Obama campaign was that it involved Biden rather than Obama.

I'm such a cute, cuddly and clever dumbass!
The first rule of holes obviously wasn’t part of Crazy Ol’ Joe’s debate prep regimen.
It irritates me to no end when a politician doesn't answer a question. I get nothing on which to formulate an opinion and to make an educated choice.
This is why you DON’T chance Xanax with Red Bull...!!!
Joe is usually two deep into boilermakers by 9 pm central time, that didn’t help.
Wouldn’t that be a BenzoBull???
It was officially Ryan's time, but Biden yelled louder and was the voice that was heard. The stupid Obama moderator never tried to shut up biden.
It was kind of sad seeing old Joe trying to score points when it was his turn to speak and then talking over Ryan or doing his horse laugh when it was Ryan's turn to respond.
My overall impression is that Biden lost because he refused to engage in the debate an instead resorted to playing the clown. He way overplayed the part and left people wondering if he was on something.
