@DLoesch

TSA said I was covered in explosives, took me to a private room and touched my vagina. So how was your day?

Wow! Exploding Vaginas, I had heard about those things
but that was in SE Asia a long time ago.

When people stop flying, only then will enough economic heat be felt to disband the TSA Nazis.

Yes, some flights truly ARE unavoidable, but I wager that the VAST majority, when all the rationalizations are stripped away, are wholly discretionary.

Hoping for significant change while massaging one's personal convenience is a fool's expectation.

I stopped flying when my wife was singled out on two consecutive flights, for elevated screening.

I asked to stay with her, and I was ordered to move along.

I did so, but I told myself it would be my last flight, if I could possibly get there by any other means.

When we go to Las Vegas, we drive. I’d rather spend ten hours in a car round trip, than have to abandon my wife to the Gestapo.

If people would refuse to put up with this for even thirty days, there would be massive improvements. The airlines would demand it or go out of business. The government would relent.

We get what we deserve if we continue to play along.

I don't blame you. Any thoughts as to whether it was it just bad luck, or is there some way she stands out, or are you both on some list?

Dana was headed to another FreePac event which Glenn Beck went to as well. She goes to all of the events. She was at CPAC Colorado two weeks ago. Get Out The Vote efforts where she makes a speech. Also on her Saint Louis show she has complained about the TSA a bunch. Sounded to me. like she had problems with TSA a lot on flights.

She’s attractive.

We both have clean records. She is business oriented, and doesn’t stand out on other issues.

My participation here would be the only anomaly, if there were one.

Hell, we don’t need them. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

PREACH IT! I’ve been saying that for years. STOP Flying! Or STOP your whining!

My wife always gets the search, but we know that because she announces she’s going to set off the metal detectors because she has an artificial knee. She’s pretty attractive (in the unlikely event she ever reads this) for her age—late 50’s. So, she always gets the patdown because she doesn’t like the radiation/microwave machines. She says it’s annoying and intrusive, but it hasn’t ever been too over the top. On the other hand, we don’t fly all that much—probably 3 or 4 times most years.

I stopped flying after TWA-800 in 1996. The TSA would also have been a trigger-to-stop, if that hadn’t happened. If I can’t drive there, I don’t go there. Ditto, CCW.

TSA-800 was the end of me believing in our government leaders, the FBI, and the CIA.

They may think they got away with that one, but they really didn’t. They destroyed themselves with that one.

Of course Waco, the OKC Bombing, and the incident with the Weavers already had me there.

Long prison terms did not result from these incidents. No need to pretend these agencies are on the side of the American public any longer. Look at Fast and Furious. These guys are criminals all the way to the top.

Nope. You don’t get the long-term goal of the TSA.

They are expanding beyond the airport.

They are going into bus terminals, ports, they will be going into freeway rest stops and check points, they will be getting involved with rental cars, all this crap. It is to be able to close roads and restrict travel.

They advertised this past Tuesday’s Romney rally in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio as having “airport type security.” While they didn’t perform patdowns, we did have to empty our pockets and walk through a metal detector, all under the watchful eyes of uniformed security with “TSA” emblazoned on their patches.
