I'm responsible, but then again, I'm not; the buck stops with me, but not really, it was this low-level political appointee scapegoat who's going to claim he "shielded" me from these demands for additional security on his own authority.

Of COURSE she takes “responsibility”... The press will laud her as a “real leader” and ENGINEER the forgiveness and reconstruction tour to “assure” us of how she would be an amazing president in 2016.
Obama’s effort to blame Hillary for the debacle in Lybia is the death knell for his campaign. It’s not because of his unwillingness to accept responsibility, it’s because he has just given every hard core liberal woman a reason not to vote for him, he has thrown the leader of their cause under the bus. Obama is not only losing more independents, he is losing liberal democrat women. They may not vote for Romney, but they won’t be voting for Obama either.

I think several of the folks here are on to something. Obama will stand up and take responsibility on Tuesday nite. That is one of the public meme’s about Obama... he takes no responsibility. This could be a brilliant move on his part. And the media would love him for it. And cover for the actual incident, while they lavished praise for his personal responsiblity.

She thinks that she can gain trust by stepping up and saying she is at fault - doing the mea culpa and appearing to be a responsible leader, in the process. The problem is: Barry is going to drill it home and use it as his teflon sheet. Barry and the Clintons have absolutely no love for one another - he wont bat an eye at walking out of the backdoor on this one.
