In the debate tonight, Romney should say something like: “I appreciate Secretary Clinton stepping up and taking responsibility for this fiasco. She is exhibiting the courage of a leader. But, Mr. President, as President Truman said, the buck stops with the president. This is your administration and you should not expect a subordinate to bear the responsibility for this this.”
Such a statement would not only make O look like the bozo he his, but would hit a nerve among independents, especially women voters.
He says she is, and he is done with women and Hillary supporters.
He doesn’t say, and he’s going to get destroyed by Romney.

Was she the cause of the problem (Islamist insurgency in the wake of the US led airstrikes into Libya and support for the torture/murder/abuse of a POW named Momar Gaddafi)? She was a member of the cabinet and she DID gloat that “WE came, WE saw, HE died”. But that “we” implies others were involved, not just Mrs. Clinton. It was Obama’s pro-Islamist foreign policy and the tail wagging the dog to get Fast and Furious off the front page.
Will she still be THE one responsible next week? Only if there are no further questions or investigations or punishments.
