“TheOne looked angry, so angry.”

This guy is mean and stupid! W/O his TOTUS he is unable to put out a cogent thought, let alone a string of them. He is truly the “affirmative action” president. He’s Eddie Murphy in the “Distinguished Gentleman” with out being clever. Thanks GWB for opening the door for him. Romney was right tonight when he contrasted himself to Bush. I guess we will see how he does as president, but I think he does know what has to be done. Now if we could only get the Senate, get rid of Boehner and McConnell and install some real leaders in the Congress we could see the country take off.

So, Obama won the debate in the worst possible way to win the debate by winning ugly. It will play to the MSNBC crowd only and the focus remains on his record or lack there of. Not to mention the story is going to be about the debate mod becoming a ref and botching the call. This night shouldn’t change the race all that much.

People tend to focus too much on the process and not the product. The media wants to focus on who “won” the debate. But the whole purpose of the debate is for the candidates to persuade people to vote for them. That is the goal. Not scoring points.

Romney did just fine. I think we will find over the next few days that he persuaded many more half-hearted 0bama supporters to switch their vote to him than 0bama persuaded Romney supporters. And I believe he won over more of the undecideds too.

I just looked at internals. Key was 73% said 0bama did “better than expected.” The crushingly low expectations gave him the “win” from the poll respondents.

Crowley worked hard to make sure Obama came out ahead on initial poll results.

Her dirty work paid off for Obama.

Her retraction (or correction) is small potatoes compared to the impact of her basically saying Mitt was lying in front of 70 million people.

And clearly we are looking at a man who cares NOTHING about any American, and cares only about keeping a job he has already shown he does not deserve.

You nailed it right there. I agree 100%. I also believe that the only reason Barry wants to win in November is so he won't be embarrassed by being a one termer. He really isn't interested in a second term. JMO.

Romney got mugged by an angry black man on stage.

If Trayvon Martin had a skinny, jug-eared, thin skinned, incompetent,
mulatto communist for a father he would look like Barack Obama.

Same as it ever was. The best thing I noticed was that Mitt was Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Every time I left the room & came back, he was talking about jobs again.

0bama was counting on people not paying attention, or not remembering, what he said right after Benghazi. It’s too late in the election season for that (imo)
I wonder how many people immediately thought of Fast & Furious when that gal asked about AKs. (Most of these questioners were “undecided” like I’m a size 6)

The thing that ticked me off the most was during the illegal immigration discussion- that little timer box that counted down on the screen to the right (our right) of their heads. Romney *promptly* wrapped it up & yielded. Not only did 0bama go on for over 4 minutes, the little box disappeared after it hit 00:00

Romney did great & 0 didn’t do himself any favors. 0 lied through his teeth & anyone who had been halfway paying attention knew it. (I didn’t think Candy Crowley was too bad, but she was kinda weird)

What made the moderator think she should be correcting a candidate?

Candy inserted herself into the debate and proved herself an idiot, basically. From the debate tonight, Obama proved himself not too smart. I don’t know that he lies as much as he is ignorant of facts and details that would support his positions.

In the future the GOP must stop playing stupid with liberal media debate moderators. The debates are shallow, stupid and activist liberals and they are not serving the public by the format of snarks, snippets and slogans. The presidency is not an american idol televison casting contest.

Debates should educate the public on the issues facing the country; not the issues chatted about by wealthy and disconnected pin heads that people the liberal newsroom.

True. Nor does the job seem to interest him very much. How others see him appears more important to him more than properly executing the function committedly. IMHO

I agree with that. The only people more idiotic than Crowley are the Republicans who agreed to let her moderate.

“TheOne looked angry, so angry. He’s going to have to come out more forcefully in the next debate. Chrissy Tingles may call it to racist to notice theOne’s anger, but it was just so palpable.”

Maybe he’s angry enough to come out swinging about racism. Maybe he could turn this whole thing around if, every time Romney scored a point, Zero just said “That’s racist.”

“He really isn’t interested in a second term.”

That crossed my mind too. In terms of actually doing anything constructive or beneficial, yeah.
Both of them see presidentin’ as a good gig—better pay than him teaching his bizarre notions of constitutional law, they have had the use and enjoyment of a nice home, lots of servants, fabulous vacations, golf—too many perqs, gratuities and emoluments to mention.
And she has been able to lecture interminably the American public and pretend that it’s work, and has further enjoyed cracking the whip over dozens of well-paid people, jumping when she says `frog’.
They’ve both done some serious damage, as well as a lot of mischief, criminal and civil, personally and through agents.
It was an expensive lesson for the great American middle to show how open-minded they were in electing a sort-of-black man who can speak without a Negro accent, or with, (or whatever that was), and it’s certainly past time to send them packing so he can begin making real money competing with the Two C’s for the title `Worst Former President Ever.’ And `Chewbacca’ may want to do a Hillary and plague us for a few more years.
I hope over the holidays someone is taking care to inventory and secure the WH china, silver, furniture, wall hangings, oil paintings, carpets and rugs, fixtures, appliances, drapes, curtains, lawn care implements, lightning rods, satellite dishes, ornamental shrubbery, et cetera.
Remember the Clintons taking off with just about everything that wasn’t nailed down? I remember one of the first gifs I saw here was Hildy flashing WH silver smuggled in her overcoat. And now she’s screwing up on her own, maybe with a little help & advice from Slick. Professional courtesy.

Good riddance, Obamas, if that’s your real name. We’ll miss you like body lice.

I’m trying to be fair here.

My opinion is that Mitt Romney is a man of accomplishment and he carries himself that way. He knows how to make and has made tough decisions. Most importantly, he knows how to get things done even when he doesn’t get everything he wants. Mostly Romney strikes me as a man who thinks about the larger picture and will lead that way. With that said, is he a little power hungry? Probably. Is he always telling the truth? Probably not.

Obama on the other hand has always struck me as a man in over his head. He talks about ‘taxing the rich’ but, ‘envy’ is not a serious economic policy in my book and if it is, Obama certainly hasn’t convinced me that raising taxes on the rich will do anything but, annoy rich people.

As an Americn, I don’t care about the rich. I don’t even care about the poor (per se). I care about the American economy. Instead of attacking Romney, how about Obama explaining his policy on entitlement spending...those sorts of things.

Obama also strikes me as a man who never really had to do the hard work of life. He’s gotten by with ‘razzle-dazzle from day one, apparently. This Libya thing is a classic example. I’m not sure why but, Obama has just been dancing and weaving ever since the 9/11/12 attacks. I bet some real embarrassing crap went down (more embarrassing than we even know) which is why Obama has been lying the last five weeks.

Romney may not be the answer but, I am certain Obama is not the aNSWER. I’m giving Romney my vote and I’ll assume he knows how to govern unless and until he proves otherwise.

The breakdown of the CBS poll was somewhat similar - huge wins for Romney on the issues vs. Obama. The economy was even better on the CBS poll - 65-34% win for Romney.
