Too bad they just elected RAT Manchin to the Senate in 2010.
One thing is clear, they need to vote out Tomblin, Manchin and Rahall and all the other Democrats that have kept WV stagnant for 80 years.
Bump!
ONLY 4 in 10? What type of Ritalin are the other 60 percent on?
It’s happened before, with the “Reagan Democrats” who were so sick of Carter. The WV Dems may have long-standing loyalty to the Dem Party, but the Dem party of 2012 is anti-coal, anti-private-sector, and anti-white-male.
I think Manchin is up again as the 2010 vote was for just the remainder of the term.
Voting on the basis of race is never a good idea.
Sadly, they won’t. Joe Manchin has them under a spell. He talks tough and shoots a bullet through Obamacare, then he votes for Harry Reid for Majority Leader so that nothing remotely conservative happens in the Senate. He is leading his Republican opponent by something like 30 points.
Manchin is indeed on the ballot again this year.
I am so hoping that he loses!
Does anyone from WV have any insight as to Manchin’s prospects?
Doesn’t WV usually vote Rep for POTUS, and Dem for downticket?
Rats in WV have gotten used to splitting their tickets, but voting straight Republican.....I rather doubt it.
Tomblin will stay.
Manchin will stay.
WV 1, McKinley(R) won by a whisker in 10. Toss-up imo
WV 2, Moore-Cappito(R) stays
WV 3, Rahal(D) stays. In the last election the GOP ran a life-long Rat
Joe Manchin voted for ObamaCare. Please, West Virginians get rid of Manchin. He is a fake phoney fraud. He pretends to support the coal industry while voting the way Harry Reed and Obama tells him to. I dispise Joe ManWhorechin.
ONLY 40%? WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE 60%? DO THEY ENJOY BEING UNEMPLOYED?.......................
He is up for reelection this Nov.
He IS an astute politician, and WV is turning redder every day!!
In the mean time, Shelly Capito-R (2nd Dist Incumbent) and David McKinley-R (1st Dist Incumbent), and Nick Rahall-D (3rd Dist Incumbent
Being related to Rep. Nick Rahall has its perks.
The long time congressman tacitly approved of his sisters dropping his name to advance her lobbying career. Meanwhile, when his son found himself facing jail time for a serious felony conviction, Rep. Rahall pleaded for mercy, in a letter on official congressional stationery. Rahall junior received a suspended sentence.
Rep. Rahall is an eighteen-term member of Congress, representing West Virginias 3rd congressional district. He is the ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
WOW!! That would be awesome. I sure hope you’re right!!!
That would be great! I thought he had 6 years.
I’m a register “non-alligned.” I’m not voting for any of Obama’s ilk! Makes straight ticket the only way to go.
You go Romney!!!!!
