” Why marry a guy when you can vote for freebees from them for nuffthin? Who needs a job? Obama will let you stay home and watch that brain trust on The View.”

The viewership of “The View”

Women who are on welfare.

I also understand where you are coming from. It’s a sad state of affairs, but I, myself cannot on faith or principle once again soil myself, betray my faith and principles and vote for the Leftist in our ranks. I despise being a slave and have a non-choice nearly shoved down our throats ‘because it’s their turn’ by the Ruling Class.

Tuesday night at the RNC said everything I needed to know about where all this is going - and I am gladI decided to be resolute on my decision to vote for a Christian Conservative instead of holding my nose yet again.

RE :” You succinctly described yet another salient reason why voting solidly Conservative and upon Christian principle instead of expediency out of fear of the ‘other guy’ was so important.”
......
What is Christian about giving up”

Obama is not Christian? How about Rev Jeremiah Wright?

We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye... and now we are indignant, because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought back into our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost.”

“”The government lied about Pearl Harbor too. They knew the Japanese were going to attack. Governments lie.”

And my favorite :

The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, not God Bless America. God damn America — that's in the Bible — for killing innocent people. God damn America, for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America, as long as she tries to act like she is God, and she is supreme

Next you will claim he is not American :)

Even Rev Jeremiah Wright recently admitted Obama wasn’t a christian.

RE :”Even Rev Jeremiah Wright recently admitted Obama wasn’t a christian.”

AHAH O would say that is because Wright is a conservative, unlike him.

Rev Wright has a great handle on history, how about those poor innocent 1930s and 40s Japanese? They never hurt anyone did they?

SNL did a funny skit with Eddie Murphy playing the Japanese ambassador and FDR baits him into attacking America, he says to Murphy "You slanty eyed yellow bastards are too cowardly to attack America on Sunday when Americans are in church".

My stock portfolio has been surging lately. Probably a decent 10% in the past week. The markets are responding positively to the idea of Romney winning this.

That is not an area that Mitt can go because LDS considers real Christians apostates of the true faith..

What is Christian about giving up?

What is Christian about compromising with evil to supposedly defeat evil? Can Satan cast out Satan?

Abortion. Homosexuals. Guns.

Romney's record is no different than Obama's on paper, and he's no Conservative.

What is Christian about allowing a homo-abortionist Marxist Muslim destroy what is arguably still a Christian nation?

There is nothing Christian about allowing a homo-abortionist Socialist dressed in GOP clothing to have my vote either. As for being a Christian nation - sorry, but you need to get your head up and look around. We're a minority now - and this culture is a testament to the fact before the Lord that we are HARDLY a Christian nation and at best - CINOs - Christians In Name Only. The fruits of this culture testify to this fact. That Obama is President also testifies to this fact. That few Christians will risk being a target to decry sin and call it what it is, while castigating those pastors and congregations calling for us to do II Chronicles 7:14 is all the fruits of a lukewarm if not Sardis Christian nation.

We haven’t had a conservative in office, since Reagan.

Exactly. The bar keeps getting moved Left to where we are stuck with voting for a Democrat Socialist to counter a Marxist thanks not only to the Ruling Class in DeeCee - but a people willing for too many generations to vote the lesser evils.

Then drive to D.C., pick a GOPe politician out of the House & Senate, and punch them in the teeth, and tell them why you did it. Don’t promote economic agony, homosexuality, and abortions on your “principles & faith”

Tempting. Very tempting. Definitely more my sinful nature's style - but Jesus didn't advocate His followers get violent with the debaucherous Romans. The Jews were going to be handed over to the gentile Romans for conquest and dispersion - and since God determines the rise and fall of empire's - it was His call that His people were judged by being placed under occupation. I often wonder if we are finding ourselves in the same boat.

Grassroots conservatism dies when we give up, and hand the country over to a man I have already aptly described.

I'm not giving up. Clearly Conservatism has no place in the GOP based on the actions of the Ruling Class. They do not deserve my vote. It's time to move on from the Plantation and stop being slaves like the blacks are to the Democrats.

Make no mistake about it, Obama intends to finish us off.

No doubts there. However, I eschew giving him the power of kingship and allowing him such power by declaring that we have to replace him with king Romney or we all die. If Obama has such power, then America is already under a dictatorship and it's not worth saving anyway. We will keep trading one evil judge/king for another and it will go from worse to worse until we are utterly destroyed. Scripture illustrates that perfectly clear by the way.

We may suffer Obama because this people and culture CHOSE a king to rule them and made government god, instead of keeping Jesus their king. Consequences followed.

You won’t have to think too long

Probably not.

Not given the history of Marxists once they achieve the level of power Obama has.

I'm not delusional to expect any change in our present course or see Romney assume kind of savior or channel Reagan. Tuesday at the RNC made it perfectly clear what they think of Conservatives, the TEA Party, Sarah Palin and their principles.

I won't be rewarding their champion with my vote.

Invar, I salute you for your views. I do want to toss out some things here that are important too.

Although I do not think Obama or Romney are fit to lead this nation, I do think Christianity and the sanctity of our nation are bettered (at this point) by a Romney term vs an Obama term.

Can I vote for Romney? No. Am I going to try to encourage others not to vote for him, or take a pass on trashing Obama so Romney won’t do better at the polls? Oh, no way.

I AM NOT here to move folks away from Romney. I have my bedrock beliefs, but the nation will be helped by those who actually do vote for Romney.

I just happen not to want any of his vile actions to come, to be on my hands.

This is a very fine line here, I’ll admit. I’m in effect supporting Romney, but refusing to actually vote for him myself.

There are folks out there that are going to vote for someone no matter what, and I want them to cast their vote for Romney if they have to vote for one of these men.

You won’t find me giving anyone grief, because they plan on voting for Romney.

When it comes to Obama, you really have to be a vacuous pod person to vote for him. I mean, there is so much out there. The guy has a record this time, and that record is one of temporary fiscal and international ruin. There is no case whatsoever for backing a man that has caused this much harm.

Some folks will say women must vote for him because of x and x. Women are financially much worse off under Obama. If someone is aware at all, and they actually care for women, they will vote for Romney. The same for Blacks, Hispanics, and the rest of the nation. The same is true for the global community as well.

This guy HAS GOT TO GO.

Our manufacturing base is not destroyed, merely lieing low. We are still a nation of manufacturers that can stoke the growth engines as soon as there is a glimpse of where we are heading.

The sad thing is that 6 months ago 95% of FReepers would have backed up what I said.

You and I will get our "See, I told you so..." moment - Even though by then it will be far too late, and it will be a bitter thing... But it is coming, sure as sunrise in the morning and darkness at night.

Obama may order Bernanke to pull all of the Fed’s money out of the stock market at some point.

If so, the dow will crater back to 7500 or so quickly. The present dow numbers are fantasy.

You and I are of a very similar arrival in mindset. I’m a bit more militant than you are - thanks in large measure to the rabid Romney supporters that moved me from mere admission of my own intents, to activism among those I serve.

Part of me would like to think Romney buys us a little more time - and given my ministry- I WANT more time to do the work while there is still daylight - because there is coming a time when none will be able to work.

But like you - I cannot betray my faith or principles in casting a vote for a man whose record is antithetical to them.

Obama is an American-Hating Marxist, no doubt - but to me - this is honestly no different than if the choice were between Obama and Hillary Clinton, and I can hear the same screams “But at least she doesn’t HATE the country!”.

Sorry - I can’t do it. I see Romney in the same light.

Probably not. We’ll still have a fundamentally flawed economy, a fundamentally flawed government, and a looming doomsday when the government runs out of money. Even if all his promises come true, which they won’t, there’s a long way to go before this economy is anywhere near healthy.

I’ll support both your decisions. I agree with both of you on the premises stated. You have both backed your plans with a reasonable explanation. We’re not always going to agree.

we agree that Obama is a vile man in need of removal

we agree that Romney is also not worthy of the office

we agree that the nation will be better served by Romney rather than Obama

we can agree, that some of us can’t vote for Romney in good conscience, and others can

I don’t see where any of this would cause someone to believe that either of you are not smart knowledgeable people for coming to the personal conclusions you have.

Bingo. I just can’t sit back and do nothing about Obama.

Members of my family died, others(dad) suffered defending

this country. We all have our reasons for our behavior.
