The idea of creating sterile opium plants etc came from reading about the Monsanto’s genetics with corn. If it were possible to do DNA engineering that targeted only the species you wanted to eradicate, we would have weed control mastered.

As a NRA member and firearms enthusiast/sportsman, the Second Amendment is important to me. It was evident Obama was anti-gun when he ran in 2008. He downplayed this then and has not passed additional restrictions as the Democrat Party’s polls showed this is an issue that would arose opposition from a significant number of voters.

If, God forbid, he has another term he will push restrictions as reelection won’t be an issue. Fast & Furious shows his sneaky nature on the gun issue. Romney has come to Jesus on the Second Amendment and is no threat. There will be enough pro gun Republicans in the House & Senate to keep Romney straight.

Yeah, because we should trust the NRA.

Half the time they wait for some other organization to do all the leg work and the NRA has to be dragged kicking and screaming to the fight unless it suddenly looks like a certain win.......like DC v. Heller.

Let us not forget the NRA was also the cause of a lot of other gun laws and nearly destroyed the efforts to get pro-gun legislation passed and anti-gun legislation repealed and/or squashed.

That they are currently trying to rewrite history for Willard is no surprise. But, don't worry, there is some EMERGENCY ACTION happening RIGHT NOW and if you'll just make this extra donation we'll send you this GENUINE [made in china] NRA HAT and STICKERS!!! Don't confuse this with the EMERGENCY ACTION that happened last week, or yesterday, or the gun restrictions we supported, just send us your money sheep. Support real pro-gun, pro-2A lobbyists; support the GOA. (Of course given some of the logic I've seen lately by saying I support the GOA and not the NRA, I suppose I am somehow pro-0 and an anti-gun communist and giving $0 to the NRA is like giving $2 to the brady campaign)

Lobbyists and consultants - If you can't fix the problem, there is money to be had in prolonging it.

We as conservatives claim to be educated people with the ability to apply reason and logic and to seek out the truth. I still cannot believe how many people think Willard is the next coming of Reagan (not saying you do, but it has been posted as such verbatim on here) and are willing to believe anything and everything because it is an (R).

I do not understand how people can be so willing to bend over backward and give him a pass and excuse his previous actions, or outright blatantly lie about them. And then, those same people have the nerve and audacity to claim they have the moral high ground and claim only dumbacrats do as such. This is why I consider myself first and foremost a Conservative and certainly NOT a (R).

Even more troublesome is the math failures that think 0+1=2 and that by not voting for Romney is somehow a vote for 0. What if I think both of them are evil bastards? What if BOTH of their records indicate that they are BOTH baby murdering, socialized medicine supporting, gun grabbing socialists?

Hell, one follows some baby raping pedophile fake prophet, and moon god, and the other follows some magic rock following fake prophet and thinks he will one day become a god.

But, shhhhhhhhhh it's some big secret and heaven forbid anyone point out facts and truth........let's play "make believe" and "let's pretend" and oh not to worry a (R) Congress will hold Myth's feet to the fire.....hahahhahahahahahaha [breathe] hahahahahahahahah.

Boy are we in trouble.

Flame away.

Oh, and for those wondering, no I am not voting for Virgil notGoodEnough either.

You hate Romney.
Get over yourself.
Romney will listen to conservatives.
Romney will try not to upset conservatives on the issues.
Give the guy a break, he comes from Massachusetts for Heaven's sake.
Do you think it would be easier to sway Obama or Romney?

Obama doesn’t need to pass a bunch of laws. Just appoint a Supreme Court justice or two and make the Second Amendment magically disappear.

You love Romney, get over yourself.

He was crammed down our throat by the GOP. He will pay lip service to conservatives, not advance any conservative cause.

So far, Obama has not done the damage Romney did on this issue.

Perhaps we need someone NOT from Mass.

Gun rights have expanded over the past ten years. People are more aware than ever the importance of the 2d Amendment. The Democrats themselves have pretty much shied away from attacking gun rights on the national level.

It would be ludicrous to believe that Romney would attempt to do so especially with a Republican House.

Have you looked at gun laws in Chicago?

That is what Obama wants.

A riposte that Romney missed. He could have referred to Chicago as "gun-control Chicago" after Obama complained about the violence in that city.

And: lest that anyone think I'm Monday-morning quarterbacking, that thought occurred to me at the moment when I was watching the debate at that point.

Let’s just get Mitt in the White House. Then we can work out the particulars

Q: As governor you signed into law one of the toughest restrictions on assault weapons in the country.

Mitt: A: Let’s get the record straight. First of all, there’s no question that I support 2nd Amendment rights, but I also support an assault weapon ban. Look, I’ve been governor in a pretty tough state. You’ve heard of blue states. In the toughest of blue states, I made the toughest decisions and did what was right for America. I have conservative values.

I also support an assault weapons ban

Supporting an assault weapons ban now = "shall not be infringed."

It's impossible to stop people from using intoxicants by force as long as privacy and freedom exists at some minuscule level. Even in prisons and police states, intoxicant abuse is rampant.

It's impossible to stop people from producing and selling intoxicants because the users are willing to pay more for them than gold! Since there is no victim to report the crime, 99%+ of drug deals are never caught. Even in places that execute dealers, countless people take that small risk to become filthy rich. The profit is so incredible that EVERY single police agency is corrupted by it. Even the CIA was caught assisting drug smugglers in the 1980s.

Even if you somehow magically sealed the border and stopped all subs, drones, planes, scanned every crevice in every vehicle, scanned every person's stomach AND eliminated police corruption to stop the import of certain plants. It would still be pointless because any plant can be grown indoors and users would still be willing to pay that extra price.

Even if you somehow made every intoxicating plant extinct through genetic warfare, it would still not work. For one, nearly every plant has some intoxicant that can be extracted if the price is right. Many of these plants, such as swamp reeds, are an important part of the world ecosystem. And don't even get me started on the dangers of releasing genetic weapons into the wild.

Also, there are potentially an infinite number of mind-bending synthetic drugs that can be manufactured. The synthetics are becoming more popular recently because they are legal and cheap until banned. They are WORSE in every way than all the natural drugs coming across the border. As soon as a certain compound is brought to the attention of authorities, a new one is sitting on grocery shelves before the ban is even signed. They are sold as bathsalts, potpourri, etc.

These new drugs can turn people into real flesh-eating zombies and they only exist BECAUSE of the WOD. It's ironic that safer drugs were banned under false pretenses of “cocaine crazed negroes” and “reefer madness”. Now these things actually happen BECAUSE of the WOD.

The only way to stop drug abuse is to target the problems that make so many people use them. The only way to stop the corruption and violence is to allow the relatively safe natural drugs to be sold by legitimate businesses. Right now we have drug kingpin billionaires on the Forbes 500. Just like the Kennedys and countless violent bootleggers during alcohol prohibition.

Just to be clear, are you saying you trust Obama more than Romney when it comes to Gun Control?

If not, please share your thoughts on who you would prefer occupy the White House come January 2013. Bear in mind that it's a bit late to redo the Republican Primary Elections.

Thank you.

You speak with hate and you are not reasonable.

I supported Cain, then Gingrich, then Santorum, then Romney.

However?

The point is to DEFEAT OBAMA, and we MUST get that done.

The anti-Romney bots need to digest this little fact:

Obama wants gun control so bad, that Obama sacrificed the lives of American law enforcement and border patrol agents and Mexican citizens, in the Fast and Furious scandal.

The entire POINT of that operation was to weaken American support for gun rights, and to push a gun control Treaty, with Mexico or the UN, through the Democrat controlled Senate.

Romney would NEVER do something like that.

Monsanto has wheat in the lab that has genes to “silence” glycogen production. Eat that and you die. Turn it loose on the world’s wheat fields and you exterminate much of humanity. That is the dream of some mentally ill libtard professors with the government’s ear.

Neither law prohibits ownership of select fire weapons. I believe they are legal in more than half the states.
