The second, and final, Missouri Senate debate between Republican Todd Akin and Democrat Claire McCaskill will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and broadcast live in Kansas City.
The one-hour forum will be at Clayton High School near St. Louis and sponsored by the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, among other groups

His new ad is spectacular and hard hitting and sure to make Claire angry and drop her a few more points in the polls and the minds of Missouri voters.
I'm also seeing some ads by Akin on the local TV after weeks without. But I notice that Akin is funding his own ads while most of McCaskill's are being funded by outside organizations. Until Akin can get some outside assistance as well then he's going to be at a disadvantage.

I was one who wanted this guy to drop out, but I did say that once he was committed to stay in the race, I was going to pull for him. Looks good at this time.
I sent him money today also. We need to get the Senate and he is a solid conservative. He misspoke. So what. I am very active in right to life causes and have spoken with former abortionists at workshops and they had personally never heard of pregnancy as a result of rape in their own practices. It absolutely does happen, of course. I think Akin was just expressing a view that is common among some pro-lifers (including me) that the body has a mechanism that makes pregnancy harder in any stress-related conception. I think he was simply in error. I believe he has a good heart. I also think he will stand up to RINO’s in DC and will stand for tea party values. At least I hope he will.
Saw it this morning on KY3:) the Rand Paul Ad is excellent too and should have an impact. McCaskill has 5 million dollars in her war chest

She gets to keep it if she loses and may be doing just that -- not spending her war chest so that she has a larger going away present.

What happened?
McCaskill tried to distance herself from Obama and claim she works well with republicans..lol. She kept saying she is a moderate but that does not fly with her voting record. Akin spoke of business men visiting his office in droves and complaining about regulations and inspectors that are always going to find something to fine them for...and Akin stated that he is pro stem cell research but against embryonic stem cell research while Claire supports it all.

You're wrong on that. Candidates have been forbidden to use leftover campaign funds for personal use since the Ethics Reform Act of 1989. She probably believes her internal polls that show her up by a large margin and is banking the money for her 2018 campaign. But hubris has a way of coming back and biting people.
If she loses and does not run for office again, then what is she permitted by law to do with this money???
